I was very disappointed earlier on today when I saw the many add-ons you can choose from, for the 1st time, and tried to install one I really liked on my desktop (which runs on XP PRO).

The add-on is called "I Don't Mind Cookies". It wouldn't install as I needed to update the version of Firefox I currently used and provided me with a link to facilitate this.

I followed all instructions throughout and surprisingly quickly I found it completed, and had message confirming the successful update of OS to ver.59 2.

Returned to add-on above and tried to install it again. I must say I felt even more disappointed when the same error message appeared. Clearly, the add-on was not so sure I'd done as directed; either that or it perhaps it got confused and then passed it on to me...

Can anyone help me, please, as I've had an awful outing this week trying to get our Sky Account sorted - my repeated attempts to get 2 things sorted culminated with my last call taking well over 2hrs, involving 5 different departments and a total of 7 agents - thankfully, I only had to tell 4 of them the whole sorry tale in full and although this sad episode was finally resolved (well, sort of), I'm not confident I'll ever be quite the same again.

I have e-bay on firefox Vista and (Microsoft and when I click on item watching and go into the item to move it to my watch list it will not work....... it this problem and I do believe due to the support on the computer. With said this is the only thin not working, it did it before and I remove fire fox and re-installed and it did work but this time I did the same and did not work. With said I do not know what I did but I thought maybe some one know what I can try to go into and do some clicking other wise every thing else works. I will tell you also that Misrosoft does not alloy now to open anything in e-bay......any help would be for help...... also all works o.k. on a i-pad.... for now any help would be great.... I'm trying to sync from Windows XP to Windows 8.1. When I sign in on XP I get a completely blank page and a few buttons. When I click on 'Reconnect to sync' I get the message "Blocked by Content Security Policy. This page has a content security policy that prevents it from being loaded in this way. Firefox prevented this page from loading in this way because the page has a content security policy that disallows it". What other way is acceptable?

Delete "entries" folder, which is 49 GB huge!

For many years I use Firefox 52.9.0esr on my WinXP computer. And for even more years I have been struggling unsuccessfully with the following problem.

Under "C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Local Settings\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\2b9qepw7.default-1469870616368\cache2" there is a folder named "entries", that is constantly inflating! It is now 49.5 GB huge! I can not delete it. Deleting process does start, but doesn’t continue even for a bit or finishes ever. I’ve tried to delete the cache via Firefox preferences unsuccessfully. Even manually via Windows Explorer, even in safe mode (F8 when the computer starts), even with TotalCommander. The folder’s size just suddenly changes to zero when I click on it, but not the real space it’s occupying on my hard drive. I even uninstalled my antivirus and tried all the methods again – to no success…
