I recently updated Thunderbird to 101. from a much earlier version, and of course it destroyed all my custom settings. I found most of the addons I had previously were no longer valid. I managed to get a lot of the previous functionality back with settings and other addons, but one still has me stumped. When I bring a message up, I have it set to fully occupy the screen. There are some buttons at the top of the message header I was able to get working, like Reply, Forward, and Delete. But 2 that I use (or use to use) a lot are the Next message, and Previous message buttons. I can't seem to find any way to get them going again. Is there some way to get a link button, or icon for these in the message header?

Hi, Quite recently, my main INBOX (unified folders) does not have the incoming counter working. It used to pick up everything from all addresses. I have obviously done something to make this happen, but I don't recall touching anything ! When things are running ok, I just leave 'em alone. Coincidentally I'm sure, but it started around my last 'update'. Any ideas please ?

Hi All- I am in charge of deploying Firefox ESR to my company and trying to get it to silently auto update on it's on with user interaction. We have policies in place (GPO) that prevent it at this point. I need some guidance on whether I should use just GPOs to manage this or should I go the route of the .cfg file? If someone has a step by step on how to best achieve this I would appreciate it. I am currently using the .msi installer.

Here is settings in an old .cfg file that I am testing with:

I normally have Dark Mode always enabled.

This week it's constantly switching to "Follow Device Theme" which then makes it the Light theme.

Interestingly, my phone's theme is also set to Dark mode so the Follow setting doesn't appear to work.

I'd like to be able to configure the format of numbered lists, both for a particular list in an email, and as a default template that will apply to all future emails that I compose.

I can find no documentation on how numbered lists are supposed to work. Mine are currently giving me roman numerals at all levels, e.g.

1. Top level

 1.  Next level
   1.  Lower level

I've come across some interesting options, including particularly https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/que.../1052897, which I've tried, but it doesn't work for me.

Keep losing my emails on my pc after 3 weeks using Thunderbird. Tried checking settings many times but cannot fixed the problem. I basically want to keep my emails permanently on my pc once downloaded from my email server. Also I once downloaded I want to clear emails from the email server which has only got a limited capacity. Please help or advice where the settings are to do the above thanks a lot. I have already spent many hours on this but cannot figure this out. After 3 weeks Thurderbird removed all my emails on my pc

For years I have been using Firefox. If I clicked on a hyperlink in any of my programs, Outlook messages, websites etc, Firefox opened a new tab. That behaviour has suddenly stopped for websites including this one occasionally. It seems to still work for Outlook. Has Firefox changed its policy?

The advice on https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1283295 is to edit browser.link.open_newwindow (3) 1:current tab; 2:new window; 3:new tab; But that is already set to 3.

What other settings might work? And why has this been changed?

Hi, every time i upload csv file to run in local outbox, it sends email on the basis of time . Is there anyway to sort emails by correspondent name and send it accordingly.

• I know i can rearrange emails in csv before uploading it to local outbox. still, i would like to understand, if there is any way to arrange emails by correspondent name and send accordingly.

Is there anyway to reset the dates or remove the dates from drafts. i have multiple emails to send, and for some reason , I would like to either give same date/time to the selected emails or completely remove it.

Even though my settings is set for "always ask ..", in the latest Firefox versions all files are automatically saved to "Downloads" on my hard drive. Could you please rectify this error?

Hey! I think to migrate from Vivaldi but only couple of things stops me. I used to split some tabs in one screen there and looks like I can't find any good addons for that. There is one addon Tile Tabs WE but it is not what I need, I want to tabs be still along other tabs, I can detach them and place on my screen by myself without such addons but that's uncomfortable to use.

This button has never worked for me. If I want to manually check for emails, I have to use the down arrow beside it and select one of my two email addresses. Do I need to check a box somewhere in both account settings to tell Thunderbird to use the control?

I am trying to create an HTML signature block. I need to add an image to my signature. In the Help for adding signatures, it says to use the menu item 'Insert > Image'. I cannot find any such menu item.

The version of my Thunderbird is 91.9.1

Please indicate where I can find this function.

My shortcut display had frequently visited websites shown and these have been replaced by several sponsored shortcuts I am not interested in. Plus, my saved user names and passwords are not loading even though they are still stored. I don't understand what happened, why these have changed, or how to restore what I previously had on shortcuts. I am not a tech savvy person and am stumped and looking for help
