I dont care what you are going to say to make it sound okay, it is NOT OKAY AT ALL. Mozilla Firefox supposed to be a Privacy Browser is not making business with Meta -> Facebook, lately i really question the mental health of Mozilla, first a unique identifier, now a partnership with zucking facebook, what's next? Let me tell you something, if you are a privacy company then get the zuck away from companies who don't give a damn zuck about privacy -> facebook, mozilla can NOT simply make a deal with facebook and claim "oh dont worry it's ok your privacy is secure, bullsh!t.

You know what, i have been using Firefox since i first accessed the internet with a webbrowser, now hear this -> one more negative thing from mozilla and that's it, bye mozilla you have lost your way.

While this is only me speaking here, MANY people have already quit firefox because of what mozilla has been doing recently. Continue what you are doing now, and soon your greatest product -> firefox will be dead. When privacy partners with tracking & spyware this is the definition of suicidal behaviour. I really worry about Mozillas Mental Health lately.

I will copy paste this post to a few other mozilla releated forums, let's see how long it stays on before censorship happens.

Then read the article, and see that this is a case of Mozilla working with Meta to maintain privacy. -This person must have mental issues, time to see a doctor asap!

Previously one could tap view, and see exactly all the transmission details of emails, especially spam or phishing, and I could highlight, copy and paste to send to SpamCop or phishing.gov.uk so the sender could be traced and blocked. The reason I am here is because I am worried about the insecurity on internet. I have been using it for years but now I realize every single person is vulnerable. I honestly did not know how easy they can steal your information from your computers, or any device you use to surf on the web. And that is not right. I think that situation has to change and if there is any way I could help to generate a change i am here.

Judging from the screenshots how likely that my phones are also contaminated, and what actions should i take to minimize the risks. The reason i saw this was that my e.bank wasn't working correctly, always trying to send money via international transfer, even though transfer was domestic.

I ve uninstalled the browser by now but i think my PCs are still contaminated.

I use the Thunderbird app in my MacBook and my broadband provider is Talktalk. TT have now changed their email settings and I have spent two days trying to get the correct settings (the ones they provided don't appear to work). To no avail, except, after two days 'chatting', they said to contact Thunderbird. Can anyone provide me with the correct settings please? I have 5 domain names: 2 with TT (the main one, which I have managed to restore, and another), and 3 others (with free-online, gmail and yahoo). I am receiving mail from my 2 TT domain names, from free-online, and gmail but can only send from my main TT domain name. Not from from my other TT nor free-online. I don't know about gmail or yahoo as they're hardly ever used. So, basically it seems that my Incoming settings are fine, but my Outgoing are not, except one. I have gone through so many settings changes I'd like to check from scratch please, I am at my wits' end. I am a senior so perhaps not au fait as much as I could be... Many thanks.

Firefox removes the exceptions after every update and they have to be manually re-added. This is a very frustrating user experience. Can you please help me identify if this is an issue with Firefox that can be updated or is it an issue with some setting I have setup.

Exceptions that get reset - Cookies and Site Data, Pop-ups, Add-ons, etc.

Permissions that get reset - All of them Location, Camera, Microphone, etc.

I get dozens of emails stating, "It looks like you're using plain-text email" or something to that effect. I see this message when I merely highlight the email in the list but without opening the email by clicking on the list entry. "Allow remote content" is set to off.

How do they know?

In Thunderbird 1153.1 (MacOS), it appears that the "Delete" button next to the header information on a message whose content display is blocked per privacy settings is applied not to that individual message but rather to the folder containing it. There's (fortunately!!) a confirmation dialog warning that that entire folder would be deleted unrecoverably, but it seems non-intuitive and dangerous that the button's scope should change depending on the content display status. When the content is displayable, the button applies only to the individual message, as I'd expect.

I don't mean "saving" login information for later use, that I do not want to do. What I mean by the login not being retained is that when I log-in to a website like say Amazon, while I'm browsing, I end up having to re-enter my login information pretty much every other time that I switch between pages. I've never had an issue like that with any other browser. Is there some setting I need to adjust to stop that from happening? As I said, I'm not looking to save my passwords and usernames within the browser, I just want to effectively browse a website after logging into it without needing to login every time I move between pages. I've got FF set for https-only. But sometimes it will tell me no https is available but when I go to the site anyway it is https.

Is this a bug or is this something in my settings?

I had been using firefox as the standard browser for years, but since the DNS-over-HTTPS feature I have had trouble with protecting my family on the web via DNS filtering. Currently the only solution that has worked is to use a different browser (the Spin browser, for whoever is interested). I have Firefox blocked using the Android family link feature (and they can't install new apps without permission). Personally, I would love to move everyone back to Firefox, but I can't find a way to do it safely. Is there a way to effectively disable DNS-over-HTTPS such that it can't be changed (kids are pretty quick at figuring out that they can just go to the settings and figuring out that they can turn the feautre back on). A parental control feature would be ideal, so I can just set the DNS-over-HTTPS to use the family DNS filter in a way they can't turn it off. Does anyone have an helpful solution, or is Firefox dead for family protection?
