In recent attempts to join a few webinars I am now getting more and more "TLS Errors." I have noticed that many of the solutions to this problem involve actions that do not solve the problem but create larger issues. Do you have a solution that works safely? I am forced to use Windows 7 unfortunately due to work systems and a long story. I think this is my primary problem but I have to keep using it until the bitter end with this PC.

Lest update to 15.9 all my extensions are now disabled. Missing Lastpass and Surfshark from my menu bar. Doesn't seem to be any way to Enable them from Extensions screen.

I reloaded Lastpass from their site and this is now working on my Menu bar.

But what happened to cause this

With the update to 115.10.0esr my bookmarks that were on the left hand side of the screen are gone. When I look at bookmarks there are a few, but I had multiple folders for different subjects, I do not find. I would like to have the procedure to return my bookmarks back to the left hand side of the screen with all of my bookmarks, bookmark folders, and other bookmarks like it was prior to the update. I'm using the OneTab add-on, Enabled. The icon no longer shows on the Toolbar, though it is on the Menu bar next to Firefox View.

I ran Remove and then Added it again, hoping the Toolbar Icon would reappear = no go, And I lost all URLs already saved, stupid me. To be clear, clicking the Icon on the Toolbar saves all open tabs.

Is there a fix via Preferences? Thanks. gw

All Add-ons are disabled and Firefox still can not play SOME of the videos on twitter. All I can see is a spinning circle on the center of the frame and the video will never be played. I tried other browsers and they all works well. It seems this issue has nothing to do with my network connection.

I searched this forum and find out some thread reporting issues of not playing All videos on youtube/twitter. Replies to these thread provided some solutions ,like update ffmpeg , set media related options in about:config. I tried them all and neither of them work for me.

Previously, when I bookmarked a page/video (URL), if the newly bookmarked page (URL) had previously been visited, the bookmark would be displayed in the Sidebar (or Toolbar) with a typical "YouTube Play Button" icon (favicon). But, if the newly bookmarked page (URL) has never been visited, then the bookmark would be displayed in the Sidebar (or Toolbar) with a default "Globe" icon (favicon).

I almost always create bookmarks by dragging links/URLs from the browser client area to a folder in the bookmarks list in the sidebar (and sometimes/rarely, to a folder on the Bookmarks Toolbar). But the same happens if I manually create a new bookmark to a "Visited" or "Un-visited" page.

Recently, this behavior just changed "without notice"...

Hello. I suspect there was a cyber attack on April 1 2024. All of a sudden,having problems crashing with more than 1 browser. My Brave browser would open,and then crash with multiple tabs that had been saved. My Mozilla history was cleared,and I want it back because I need to find all sites I have visited from time to time for logins etc,but they are now gone.I have tried importing all of my Brave history,login forms to Firefox,but not sure where to located them or where they would be stored.

I have never had to deal with this sort of thing before so i am saying that i may be somewhat noobish on this.I just want some expert instruction on what to do here,and how to do it.I,m not 100 percent sure if i can do it correctly on my own by googling this myself,then attempting it.Brave continues to open then crash right after,so I dont know whats going on there with the userdata folder in the appdata folders with regard to Brave. Everytime i try to install an older version of Brave,it says i already have a curent version of it,and i dont want to uninstall brave then reinstall it again,or not sure if i should do this. This newest release has a massive memory leak. I know it's Firefox, because I look at the system monitor, and there are even more entries for firefox.com running than usual. The first one on the top of the list is the biggest resource hog, and the next one is second. All the rest have something going on, but smaller. Looking at performance in the Windows Task Manager, under performance, the memory usage goes up. Right now, it's 5.35Gb of 16Gb. At worst, several days ago, it was at 12Gb. When I force close Firefox, the memory and usage goes way, way down, to a usable level.

I wrote last night. "Ed" someone got back to me, didn't quote my message, and said he was from another department. I DID EXACTLY THE SAME THING AS LAST NIGHT. I hit the blue button, which took me here, and he advised me to do today, which brought me here, AGAIN.

If this, again, goes to "restoring access to Mozilla accounts and subscription services such as Mozilla VPN", please be professional and forward it to the right department, possibly with my message quoted, as this is the second time I'm creating it, and only have my memory on which to fall back for the first time. The logical topic is "Fix slowness, crashing, error messages, and other problems".

At the same time, other releases have had big memory leaks, and they seem to get patched quickly.

I've just now noticed the Threading automatic default grouping/marking of messages, and it is appalling. Thunderbird/Mozilla either needs to eliminate this (with appropriate warning notices, perhaps) or at least give us the ability to NOT link various messages. It's not only vastly annoying, it can cause severe real-world problems if anyone not in the CC or BCC fields is receiving these messages that were not intended for them.

I suppose for now, the only way to NOT link things that were never meant to be would be to change the Subject when discussing important topics.

Either that, or get a whole new mail service, which I'd prefer not to have to do.

In Windows 10 and 11, Firefox's tab bar and other elements that may be transparent render in Windows 10 using some sort of uDWM method (speculation, I could be wrong?) rather than the traditional win32 window frame as you can see with the title bar toggled on. This leads to elements like the tab bar being black or white, depending on your theme unless you have specified otherwise in your chrome. Highlighted yellow below is my problem area.

In my CSS code, I am trying to extend the system color to be drawn to the tab bar (and in this instance, the address bar as well,) but I can't find any way to be able to do this. I have found forums that say to add -moz:appearance -moz-windows-glass, but this completely removes the window border and leaves the Firefox window unresponsive to controls. The only way to close it is if you close it through the taskbar or task manager.

Note that I am aware of .titlebar-color{color: AccentColorText; background-color: AccentColor}, but that's not what I am going for here. That still draws using Windows 10 modern UI. Windows 7 on ESR 115 or unofficially on 116 still draw with Windows Aero in all parts of this CSS code that are black (highligted yellow below.)

I have used FireFox for years Now I can not download VPN as it requiers W 10+ I can not afford new computer, I am a Disabled Viet Nam Vet/ A MARINE I dd not what all these new apps and maybe Windows is blocking download - HELP

Hey folks... I am running the latest ESR version for windows 7. I know, its limited support and stuff but I have this most annoying problem that just doesn't seem to want to go away.

Every day, several times a day, I am told there is an update available. I have gone in several times and downloaded and installed the latest release. The install goes fine, there are no issues. Yet, over and over again I am told there is an update... but I have the latest version installed.

In the past, I have used the "distribution" folder trick to stop updates and I have removed that a long time ago. I can't figure out why it keeps telling me there are updates, when there are none.

How can I stop this from doing updates where there are no updates to get? It's driving me nuts...
