Hi, I've upgraded to Windows 11 today and couldn't open Firefox since. Things I've already tried:

• Reinstall Firefox and delete all old files (Appdata & Program files)
• sfc /scannow and DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth
• Windows compatibilty mode
• Firefox Troubleshoot mode won't open either
• ipconfig /release & /flushdns & /renew
• netsh int ip reset & netsh winsock reset

When opening Firefox in any way, i get a white window/just the window border which immediatly closes. When trying to start troubleshoot mode, the small window has the same issue.

I also checked the crashlogs and none were generated. The Windows event-logger also has no entries.

I have no idea what to do - send help please.

Youtube, and only youtube, will not play audio. Netflix works, Hulu works, steam games works. But no audio on youtube. it's not my computer's audio settings, Youtube works fine on edge. I love firefox, it is my default browser, but, you know, what the fuc*! why won't youtube work?! I know it's not your fault but, you know, I call bologna! Attached is a screenshot of a video on youtube. Usually I can hear sounds but not now.

As of recently, every time I try to watch someone on Twitch, where the video feed would normally be is the streamer's offline banner image. Chat is working fine, and is active despite the stream not being displayed on my end. If I check the Twitch mobile app the stream displays as normal, so I know they are currently streaming. I tried disabling all of my add-ons and restarting the browser to no avail. I am a noob, so please be patient with me. I have attached images of an example, but this happens with any live channel, not just ones I am following (I do not have any active subscriptions as far as I know).

Every time I would try to log in it would always redirect me to a website that contain only the words "Expected redirect cookie to exist"

It's really annoying because it only happens on Firefox. For some context I just re-installed Windows 11 and I heard from another post that re-installing Windows 11 will help but I do not want to go through the whole process again.

I have already tried:

• Turning off DNS over HTTPS
• Turning Off Proxy
• Clearing Cache and Cookies
• Reinstalling Firefox

I am attempting to report that Yahoo Finance is broken. From this URL, I use the "report broken site" feature:

When I fill out the information and hit "send", nothing happens. The "report broken site" screen remains active. Hitting Send multiple times has no effect.

I've tried using this feature for other pages, and it appears to work; but it won't work for this site.

Can anyone suggest why that might be? Is it a byproduct of the site's being broken?

Just recently Firefox seems to have its downloads capped at 15-16 meg speedtests show the full 1Gig speed OPERA AND EDGE both download at the full 999 megs but firefox has recently stopped downloading any faster then 19 meg

what in firefox could be causing this its not happening in any other browser.

after updating newest the version of Firefox the option to" restore previous windows opened " does not work. Is there a work around when I close my browser and then reopen the browser so that all the tabs that I had opened before closing my browser return as if I never left?I went into my setting and have the "open previous tabs" is checked. I even restarted my browser but nothing simple seems to work. Thanks in advance

I simply want to use a password to open Firefox. I don't want to set up Firefox sync. How can I set up a simple password as permission to open Firefox without accessing sync?

CVE-2024-4367 has been announced several days now with MITRE and CIS. There is also an issue/advisory on the github repo for PDF.js which appears that the fix has been merged into the master commit of PDF.js (https://github.com/advisories/GHSA-wgrm-67xf-hhpq).

The vulnerability is pretty serious and yet there is no Security Advisory from Mozilla on affected versions, etc. (https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/security/advisories/)

Is this normal and I am just being impatient?

We are working on implementing Firefox for Enterprise and rolling it out through Intune/Company Portal, one challenge we are encountering is that we have disabled Pocket as thoroughly as we can (followed the guide from Mozilla https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/disable-or-re-enable-pocket-for-firefox) and we are still seeing requests go out to "img-getpocket.cdn.mozilla.net" we do not want Pocket available at all, we do not want queries made to those domains, is it not possible to completely eradicate Pocket?

It wouldn't be a problem but our AV solution (MDE) has a popup every time the URL is queried and blocked.

I have a Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga Gen 6 (20XY005MGE) with Win11 Pro.

All of a sudden, Firefox does not play any sound. I notice that it does not show up in the volume mixer. I tried:

• Reboot the PC
• Uninstall and reinstall Firefox
• Deactivate all Extensions
• I worked my way through the manual pages (none of which mentions Firefox missing in the volume mixer)

Youtube does not play sounds, the Spotify page notices that it cannot play sound (the spotify App for Windows works fine, though). News sites (tagesschau.de / video, deutschlandfunk.de / audio) play the video, but no sound.

I had the problem a few months ago already but I cannot recall the solution :(

Every time I am trying to search, google is always pinned on my search bar, and I want to get rid of it. How can I remove google? (On the image I marked the issue with a red circle)

my firefox youtube is broken, every time i close firefox, and open youtube, the comments and the sidabar wont load, until i clear my cookies and login. so that fixes it, but its not permanent. if i close or restart firefox, id have to repeat this process again. and yes, ive disabled all my extentions and cleared cache. and updated firefox.

There used to be an extension called "IE Tab". It allowed you to right click on the link, and open the site in a tab, using Internet Explorer, for sites that didn't work properly in Firefox. I was wondering if anybody knows of any similar extension that would do the same for Edge? I can't open Twitter (X) using Firefox anymore, but I can open it using Edge. I don't like Edge (obviously), but I have no choice. Thanks in advance!!!

My old email keeps showing up when Firefox is trying to auto fill email. How do I change that in Firefox. Same with addresses, My mailing address is shown in many different ways, all variants of my actual address.

Also, I have some kind of browser hijacker (BING) that keeps directing me to Bing website. I have tried the standard procedures as outlined, bu t still BING often redirects my searches. I am also working with my anti-virus people to try to correct, but thought I would ask you as well. Here's where it took me when I searched for cookies (like you bake in the oven): "https://www.bing.com/search?ptag=ICO-86655dbd68d344bb&form=INCOH1&pc=1AWL&q=cookies"

The layout on the Roblox website, https://www.roblox.com Has appeared to break, I've seen the website on Google chrome and Microsoft Edge and it's good to go. I am not aware as to how this has happened. I have disabled every Addon I have, This issue is not caused by the Addons I have installed.

i imported Firefox bookmarks to Firefox on another user account and i am not getting thumbnails! Both on bookmark's bar and inside bookmark browser :/

Please add support for progressive web apps to firefox, it is the only reason why I have stopped using firefox in preference of chrome. Without this feature, we can't use websites in split screen without the search bar area eating into the web page.

I am a single user of Firefox 123.0 (64 bit) on a Windows 11 desktop, Win 11 laptop, and Android phone. If I use Profile Manager to delete both of the the Profiles from my desktop ("default" and "default-release"), will that have any effect on my laptop or phone? Specifically, will I lose my passwords and bookmarks on all devices, or just the desktop?

Also, can I delete one of my two profiles? If so, which one? When I navigate to Users\Bill\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles, I see four folders:
