Why does the Tbird directory show two accounts with different content', for the same email address? Totally confusing. See attached screen shot redacted for privacy -- the email addresses are the same. One indicates 7 and the other 25 in the inbox. WHAT is going on?

transfering files from backup worked from V66 to V88

tryed V115b6 did not like it, what hidden files did it change ?? I recopied TB V88, Library files from backup and still get Welcome to TB page to setup my email  :-(  :-( Pls Msg me at [removed phone# and email from public support forum], HELP

My @gn.apc.org (IMAP) inbox has a limited capacity to display, to keep important email. They simply drop-off the list. It currently saves only today's emails. This cannot be correct. I have attached a timeline. Appreciate some info & advice

Will my Thunderbird account stay open with Cox's new platform? I have had a Thunderbird email for at least 15 years and do not want to change to Yahoo as Cox is trying to implement. I am presently getting messages but want to know if I will continue to get ALL of my email if I leave things alone. Please help me.

I have Cox.net as my email, a few years ago I switched to Thunderbird, I like it so much better.. But now Cox.net is moving their web base to yahoo mail, yet still using my original email bjacob3@cox.net.. So I had to go to yahoo and set up my original email thru them and change password for them.. Yet even tho I won't go thru yahoo, I still want my thunderbird to work.. I notice now that I still can get to my thunderbird mail, like I always do, yet I don't see any new mail coming in.. what do I do?

Cox has moved its email from its servers to Yahoo and while the "cox.net" stays the same I am not able to get my email through Thu Thunderbird as there are 2 places in the account Server settings that need to be changed, 1) Server name, and 2) Local Directory. I have had no luck in changing either as I really don't know what to put in either one. HELP11

Where are by Thunderbird gmails stored? I am running two email server programs right now (Outlook and Thunderbird). Outlook stores gmail in the cloud and there are thousands of them, Naturally I do not want TBird to store all emails on my hard drive but I am told they are on my hard drive. If so this will eat up ALL my disc space. Where does TBird store my emails? If on my drive then how to I control how many are saved there and what will saved in the gmail cloud?

I use Thunderbird for mail.cablespeed.com email accounts as well as a gmail account. The last few days all outgoing messages on the cablespeed accounts do not go, instead I get this error message:

Sending of the message failed. An error occurred while sending mail. The mail server responded: [VO-1] Message blocked due to spam content in the message.. Please check the message and try again.

What is happening? What can I do about it? Tech support (such as it is) from Astound Broadband, the current owner of cablespeed, says that they have ended the use of all 3rd party email clients...without notification. They want me to use their web email. My contacts are on Thunderbird, my email folders are on Thunderbird. What a headache. The gmail account works as it should on Thunderbird.

This is new. What can I do?

Firefox is synced on all my computers. Same version. Same extensions. I can't login on my primary desktop as of last night 5/23/24. I can login/watch Prime on my laptop. My desktop gives me the attached error.

On opening Tbird I have started getting a Google pop up asking me to sign in to Google to continue to Tbird. This is just annoying as I can access all my email accounts without signing in to Google. I just have to close the annoying pop up every time I open Tbird. How can I stop this happening?

On my PC's Firefox wont connect to my work servers"DQS Worldwide". I have tried to connect to,"auditcenter.dqsus.com". The page times out and wont connect. It works with Opera and Yandex but not fire fox. I have tried to connect in Michigan,California and Europe. Can you fix this issue so that I can connect to "auditcenter.dqsus.com" and use Firefox. Will thunderbird run on windows 11 with ARM architecture?
