I have a Thunderbird on my old windows computer. I just installed it on my new computer (and I donated). I could have sworn that I had the import/export tool on the old Thunderbird. I desperately need to move some folders of emails from the old computer to the new one. I can't find a way to do that. I went to a link that said the import/export tool no longer works. I tried archiving the messages in a folder but have no idea where they went. Luckily I could undo that. What is the best way to move these folders of emails to the new computer? It was really easy many years ago.

ive built a new pc and have a flashing program popup every 10min. upon assistance from a really good pc guy, we've found its a firefox default browser agent with a long code.

its not listed in my scheduled tasks, eyt runs every 10min. only thing close to firefox would be thrunderbird, but iirc, mozilla and thunderbird are not longer the same company. either way. i need this thing to stop running every 10min.

All of a sudden, Firefox (125.0.3), running on Windows 11, is not delivering any sound at all on websites which have music or people speaking. The TOR browser does deliver the sound on those same websites.

On my Macbook Air M1, Firefox's UI and default scaling is perfect on my Retina display, but if I move the window to my external Philips 1080P monitor, some - but not all - interface elements are very over-sized, which makes Firefox unuseable on any external monitor I connect. (I have tested this with multiple other monitors)

Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra running latest Android update and latest Firefox update. I set Firefox as my default browser. I have un-installed all updates for Samsung Internet and removed all permissions for it. Disabling it is greyed out. Some apps that I use have links to websites. Too frequently, when I go to one of those links, the intro screen for Samsung Internet opens. Then, when I look at the settings in Firefox it is no longer set as the default. Then I set Firefox to default and go to my phone settings to see that Firefox is selected as the default. If I open the previously mentioned app and choose the web link, Firefox will open. But somewhere along the way, the default changes back to Samsung Internet and it's a vicious circle. I have posted in a Samsung forum but haven't gotten a reply that solved the problem. Please help. I'm using FF on a Mac Mini, Sonoma, and for the last few days FF doesn't open in the same position it was in when I closed it. When I open FF it's about half of the size it was when I closed it. I then drag a corner to the size FF I want, but this is a very new issue.

I would like to change the color of the two highlighted URLs in the address bar's drop down list to what they were in FF 88 - the one that is currently selected with the cursor keys, and the one the mouse pointer is over.

The first screenshot below is of the highlight colors in FF 115/125. You can see two different shades of gray, the darker gray being the URL selected with the cursor keys, the lighter gray being the one the mouse pointer is over.

The second image shows the colors from FF 88, the URL selected with cursor keys in blue, and a dark gray for the one the mouse pointer is over.

Any help in modifying these colors, and the radius of the selection is greatly appreciated!

Firefox automatically updated itself to version 126.0 (64-bit) and it was unable to display any web sites.

First I disabled Mozilla VPN but that did not fix my issue. Next, I disabled Microsoft Defender firewall software to no effect.

Finally I updated the shortcut to Firefox on my taskbar to launch the browser. This fixed my issue.

Hopefully, this will save other users from the same pain.

When I use google meet, I regularly get feedback that I sound far away, despite being at a normal distance from my computer. If I switch to another app, like slack, the issue doesn't present (so it's not an OS level issue). I'm using firefox on m3 macbook pro.

What can I do to fix this issue? Or do I have to stop using firefox?

Aren't they internal LAN ip's? How can they be seen even without a VPN when I have NAT.

I've had no issues with Firefox Sync on desktop but frequent issues on Android.

Yesterday, it failed in a different way, announcing that I needed to sign into Sync. I've tried a dozen times yesterday and today using both QR scan and email confirmation. All fail in various ways. For example:

• After scanning QR code: "500 Error Oh dear, something went wrong there"
• After scanning QR code: "Pairing not successful. Error while creating the pairing channel"
• After scanning QR code and approving on mobile device and desktop, desktop says success, but phone stays on "Approval now required from your other device" Interestingly this page isn't open in the normal browser. If I click the three dot menu, it says "POWERED BY FIREFOX, Open in Firefox"
• After going through all the steps and it saying "You're signed into Firefox," yet when I go to share a tab, it asked me to sign in.

Any tips on getting Firefox Sync to work? I don't see any troubleshooting sections in the online help articles.

Hello, in TB there is the option of displaying certain appointments or all appointments, e.g. in the next seven days (above the calendar). This also works perfectly on my Windows computer, but unfortunately not on my Linux computer (Ubuntu 22.04.4 LTS, TB 115.10.1 (64-bit)). In TB on Linux, no appointment is displayed as a list at all. Thunderbird correctly identifies that the account is available on outlook.office365.com and pops up a window to complete the oauth flow. The oauth window does not display anything. If I copy the url from the window to my browser then I can complete the oauth flow easily. It fails when it ends with a "localhost" url which thunderbird presumably intercepts.

I cannot paste the final URL into thunderbird. I am thus unable to complete the oauth flow.

Hi, Today I discovered that firefox has logged me out of every site. I checked the cookies and there were cookies.sqlite and cookies.sqlite.bak. When I delete the newly created cookies.sqlite and rename cookies.sqlite.bak to cookies.sqlite, I am logged back in to all sites and everything works fine. I notice that the cookies.sqlite.bak file is created when I go to twitch.tv. Can I check what is causing this problem and fix it somehow? I've already tried deleting the cookies just from the twitch.tv site, but that doesn't help.
