I keep needing to sign back into my main (default) Google account when I restart Firefox. Checked cookies and even disabled blocking of any cookies. Still same issue, and unique to Google. All other sites (Facebook, LinkedIn) stay signed in upon browser restart.

FIrefox is not loading new pages from the home page- it will load history I've saved or previous tabs, but opening a new tab and searching or typing in a website won't connect. Uninstalling and reinstalling briefly fixes the issue but as soon as my computer enters sleep mode the same thing happens. IS there a way to fix this? It's been happening for about a week now.

I know that there is a generic Linux iteration that can be downloaded, but it does not appear to allow for use on ARM64. Is there a way that I can download, install, and access Firefox on my Orange Pi 5 Plus?

Firefox isn't having a memory leak (RAM and CPU usage stays the same) nor is it maxing my GPU or anything like that. But if I watch enough of a 1080p60fps stream or enough 1080p60fps content in general (this stream is a notable offender: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W6OOnrx8g58), it'll start to slow down over time (generally a couple of hours) and [really chug and drop frames like its nobody's business: https://i.imgur.com/OmHqJ8a.png. This does not occur in Edge (the streams run silky smooth even after 2+ straight hours of watching), nor does it happen on other streaming sites like Twitch. It also doesn't happen in Firefox on my desktop.

Regular 1080p60fps videos are MOSTLY unaffected. The buffer wheel animation in most videos is choppy and moving back/forth with the 5-sec rewind/ff feature results in a short, choppy buffer wheel on a lot of videos(https://imgur.com/tm1AtkB), even if the video itself is mostly unaffected. Some more "intense" videos will make the fan speed go up. HD videos are *slightly* less smooth when in this state. Unpausing a video often results in a short buffer wheel before the video resumes if left paused for at least a minute or so. I also get a tiny TINY bit of frameskip on the occasional Twitter video while in this "state".

Its like the memory is "caching" something and killing the process clears that "cache", yet I have no idea what is actually doing this.

Refreshing the page/closing and reopening the stream stream has no effect, its like an affliction and will still be choppy when you reload. Restarting the Firefox session or killing the process the stream or a video is running through fixes it for awhile (even if the stream stilll drops more frames overall than it would in Edge), but it feels like I have an "allowance" of 1080p60fps content before these streams start to chug. Nothing else in-browser is lagging at all.

Outgoing emails are blocked. This pop up shows. Receiver can send emails in.

I have recently had a Computer Crash and have set up a new Computer. However, I cannot find a way to synchronize my old Bookmarks. Part of the Problem probably is that when the Syncing was originally set up, I was using a different User Name [e-Mail Address] to that I am using now. I have been using Firefox since 2006; and have an old Sync Key dating from some time in 2014; but cannot find a way to enter it into the current Firefox Settings. How do I recover my Bookmarks?

For some reason when I opened Firefox this morning, my Firefox home page did not have any of my shortcuts. They all disappeared. Please have a look at the image attached to see what I mean.

I spent almost the entire day searching up the issue on the Internet and trying different things but they all did not work.

would like to raise my concern my curiosity regarding a recent issue I encountered. Specifically, I need to address how my IP details are being accessed, especially when using enhanced protection measures. Additionally, I am concerned about the privacy aspects of private browsing and whether unauthorized individuals can gain access to my user details legally.

In Chrome, I can hit CTRL+SHIFT+I to open developer tools, add the Media tab, and go to the Media tab, and I can see the codec and what decoder is being used.

How do I do the same thing in Firefox?

I have been using 4 email accounts with TB for years now with no problems - 2 use IMAP gmail accounts and two POP mail accounts. In the last week, when I open TB (on a mac OS10.15.7) I am asked to enter the password for these two accounts. I have not changed the passwords for these two accounts anywhere else so I don't know why TB suddenly wants me to enter them. No matter what password I enter here, I am told the login failed and am asked to enter a new password. I enter a new password and go back to being asked for passwords again.

What password is TB looking for? Where is it stored so that I can look for it? When I go to Settings/Privacy and security/Saved passwords only passwords for the two gmail accounts are shown. Where can I find the passwords for the POP Mail Server and how do I reset them?

I have just upgraded to 115.9.0(64-bit). Now when I select "Send to email client" I get a message that either there is no default email client or the current client cannot fulfil the request. This did not happen before the upgrade

Reaching my end with defects in thunderbird. I select items in the inbox/index of the UI and it isn't updating the email view pane.

Sometimes I select in the index, it highlights the message, doesn't update and then 10-15 seconds later, the UI does a big update like it had hung on something, and it just ignores my selection completely and selects whatever it wants. This is crazy.

I'll add I have a "unified folder" and despite the 3 accounts inboxes included from accounts configured to never auto update, IT ALWAYS does updates whenever it wishes. Again, this is crazy. Like it can't be supposed to work like this ?

So: Is this thing single threaded ? Is the "unified" folder functionality mature and does it work properly ? Suggestions or pointers to fix or research/test what I see is just flat out poor performance when clicking stuff in the UI ?

I really can't believe I'm questioning the basics of thunderbird.

Version is Win 10, 115.8.1 (64-bit), udpating now but I'd say I have found the basic performance to have tanked since the bug UI change to "modernize" it. Seems to me, without exact data to support that I have been degrading ever since. No updates I've made in last few months have improved anything.

Really don't want to leave but I'm about to try using it on Mac and Linux to compare and at same time I just configured all this in apple mail for the first time in maybe 10 years. This is something I never ever thought I'd do.

Last thought, I use same accounts, on iPhone (Boxer) and many iPads. I don't see any performance problems there so I'm pretty confident this isn't the mail servers.

I have created a label library on different computers, but if I add a label other than the standard one on one of the computers, it does not appear on the others. I mean like number 6 Techniczne.

Hello, I have the fallowing issue with Firefox and the sound icon on taskbar in Windows 10 22h2, when Firefox is open and I click on the sound icon on the taskbar in Windows 10 22h2 the sound icon does not open, when Firefox is closed the issue is gone.

Any help to fix this issue would be great.
