I've installed this extension: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/public-ip-display/

I've pinned it and it shows up in the Toolbar, no issues till here.

However, when I exit Firefox and open it again, the extension is no longer pinned. I cannot even locate the extension in the list of extension when i click on the little "puzzle" icon that shows you your lists of addons and allows you to pin them.

Everytime after I start a fresh session of Firefox, I have to go about:addons find the add on, toggle it off and then toggle it on again (it stays on after restart btw) for it show up in the toolbar.

Can you assist in figuring out why this addon is behaving this way?

i SET UP THUNDERBIRD ON MY NEW COMPUTER, SUCCESSFULLY, BUT THREE DAYS AGO MY WEB HOST/SERVERS UPGRADED THEIR SYSTEM. i SPENT THREE DAYS SORTING OUT NEW SETTINGS. CONFIGURATIONS, PASSWORDS, ETC, TO GET IT ALL WORKING, IT WAS DIFFICUL BUT IT NOW WORKS. HOWEVER, I HAVE MANY FOLDERS OF MAIL ,AND MAIL NOT IN FOLDERS, IN THEUNDERBIRD ON AN OLDER COMPUTER. i WANT TO IMPORT THOSE FOLDERS OF MAIL, AND ADD THEM TO MY NEW COMPUTER THUNDERBIRD INBOX SET UP, BUT I DO NOT WANT TO IMPORT THE OLD SETTINGS AGAIN!" THAT COULD BE A DISASTER. I JUST WANT THE MAIL AND THE FOLDERS. ALL THE VIDEOS i SEE ARE TO IMPORT THE OLD SETTINGS AS WELL. CAN I JUST EXPORT/IMPORT THE ACTUAL MAIL FOLDERS AND MAIL, AND NOT SABOTAGE MY HARD WORK BY CHANGING ALL THE NEW SETTINGS AND PASSWORDS BACK TO WHAT THEY USED TO BE IN THE PROCESS?? I refreshed Firefox last night. Now, Facebook doesn't display images--it displays about half; the rest are blank boxes. Facebook closes while I'm typing. A game I've been playing freezes and I have to close it and re-open it. Telus email seems to be fine. My Google results are in massive type and I can't adjust it.

Since the new update, when I select an autofill a new tab opens for the settings. I have closed it many times, double checked the settings and closed it, etc. but it still opens a new one every time I use the autofill feature... please advise.

iPad OS version Firefox 126.1 (41973) iOS 17.5.1. iPad is am 8th gen When trying to read/use a website, it auto refreshes and pops back to top. I keep mine in landscape mode, and when trying to have a page open many will just refresh. We would like to deploy a configuration profile to our macbooks running Sonoma 14.5 and above. This is being done via Jamf MDM. However when we use our current plist to configure settings, They are not being applied correctly, The issue seems to be with the firefox plist itself and not our Jamf deployment. Would you be be able to advise or could we ask for a plist template that could achieve this?

Been searching. Updated firefox and lost passwords (across MacBook and iMac Firefox versions) so googled, went looking for logins.json etc files. No sign of them, and no firefox folder in applicationsupport/library on my Mac. Showing hidden files. About:profiles shows only one profile. No idea how I can restore things. Time Machine backup on desktop iMac has no firefox profile files. Where is the data please? Etc etc :O)

Hi, I posted this question about 3 upgrades ago. I run Win7_64 (Yes I know it's outdated!) with dual monitors. After closing FF I was always left with a partial FF screen window open on the left monitor. It could only be cleared with a screen refresh, or dragging another app. screen over the top. I checked the obvious like GFX drivers (which had never changed), FF .exe processes seem to have terminated and I confirmed no other app did this (even Chrome). I suspected it was a FF shutdown problem? I asked the question here but didn't get a solution until now.

I've now installed the latest update 115.11.Oesr (64 bit) and have not seen the same problem for a week. If it stays that way, thanks to the FF team for fixing this annoying problem.

Attempting to type just one letter in the search bar in Settings will make the entire app unresponsive. I only got this problem ever since I upgraded to Sonoma 14.5.

I have a new email in outlook account. I have created a new identity in thunderbird for this. It is receiving emails but will not send them. I have made an app password in Microsoft but still can’t get it to work. Could someone help with this please Stephen

Thunderbird doesn't consistently show messages for "digest" mailing-list emails. E.g. for a subscription to "users-digest@activemq.apache.org".

Looking at an individual mail, e.g. 57170, it also does not show the contents. Using Ctrl-U to show the source then reveals the contents.

I'm on OSX Catalina 10.15.7 and all of a sudden I am unable to get any sound from my FireFox browser. I tried to play audio/video from 3 different websites - Youtube, 123greeting.com and Gettr and while the video played, there was no audio coming out on any of the sites. I have no problems watching and hearing videos on my other browsers - Brave and Vivildi so this issue is with Firefox on multiple websites. Please advise as to where to look for some switch to turn the sound back on my Firefox browser. Thanks

Some mails always end in spam folder no matter which settings I have tried for example collected adresses or check/uncheck spam settings. For a test I have two hotmail accounts. When I from thunderbird send mail from one to the other, it ends in spamfolder. But if I from the same mail account from outlook.live website send mail to the same account, it doesn't end in Thunderbird spam folder. Besides this many other safe and regocnized mailaccounts recently starts to end in spamfolder. Can any thing be done?

I've been using Firefox for about six months. I'm a MacBook user with the most recent version of Sonoma installed. After a month or so of using Firefox it starts crashing and freezing. Sometimes I can't restart it for several minutes. Whenever this happens, I refresh it. I've refreshed it about twice. I've re-installed it twice too, but it keeps happening. Most settings are default, but I wanted to include the settings in case this could be the problem: - I've turned off Firefox home content - I've turned off all passwords and autofill features - Never Remember History - Do Not Track and Tell Websites not to share/sell my data are turned on - I left the standard-level security settings as is

I have one extension installed.

The only other browser I have installed is Safari and I am not having these issues. I should add that I don't receive any error messages when this happens, it just freezes. The most recent issue is that I was clicking on buttons on a website and it wasn't working, but when I started using the Safari browser (which also set to private mode) it worked fine.

When it works I love Firefox and would like to keep using it. I am wondering if there is anything I can do to fix this.

I have had the option "Check for updates but let you choose to install them" selected for some time, because when FF auto-updates my system becomes unstable. Despite that version 126.0.1 (64-bit) was automatically installed. Which I only found out about because after causing FF to freeze, and basically crashing the work I was doing, and forcing me to kill the task with task manager, I get the "FF is installing your update and will start in a few minutes" at restart.

After looking thru the help forums I have set app.update.background.enabled and app.update.background.scheduling.enabled to false. (They were both true despite the setting selected.)

Two things:

1. I DO want to be notified when updates are available. I just don't want them to happen at your convenience. Will I still be notified of updates with these config parameters set to false?

2. If you have a setting that says "Don't Update" and I select that option, you should not update. There is clearly a problem somewhere.

(Windows reinstall via Microsoft's cloud reset "save my data" option specified... though some stuff got wiped out due to hard drive issues)

I want to transfer all my bookmarks to another pc. I select export to HTML file and save to a flash drive. I insert the flash drive into the second pc then select 'import and backup' and 'import bookmark from HTML' . Then select the Bookmark.HTML on the flash drive and 'Open'. But no bookmarks ever appear anywhere that I can find. How can I get the bookmarks?
