the latest release of thunderbird android 12.0 states under new:

• Add support for avatars in account settings

where can i find that setting? or is this a bug?

The font size settings appear to have been removed from General Settings or anything below that. They can be found using the search function, and they do work when changed, but I've seen the font size go back to default more than once. So, at the moment, they're kind of hidden and ephemeral.

I have several email accounts that are hosted at one.com. With all these accounts I cannot retrieve messages from the IMAP-folders other than from the Inbox. I have tried with reinstalling the Thunderbird app, both betaversion and the stable version and subsequently I also have reinstalled all email accounts. I cannot find anything in the settings that solvs this issue. Anyone who knows what the problem can be and how to solve it?

I try to download the app from the playstore, and it says Thunderbird will install soon, but soon never comes. I never get to the stage where you confirm the path name

Für Android gibt es bei E-Mails K-9. Ich habe noch keine Lösung für Kalender und Aufgaben gefunden, die mit Thunderbird unter Windows/Linux synchronisieren. Kann mir jemand dazu Lösungen anbieten?

Heb helaas Thunderbird email van mijn telefoon verwijderd en nu wil ik deze weer installeren op mijn smartphone met android 13 maar na tientallen pogingen is het niet gelukt. Ook handmatig lukt niet krijg error codes. Wat is de oplossing om uw email weer op mijn telefoon terug te krijgen. Mvg Jan

Even though all my email accounts in Thunderbird for Android are IMAP, when I send or forward messages from my phone they leave no trace: they aren't in any folders on my phone, nor do they show up on my computer. This may make me go back (horror of horrors) to Gmail on my phone.

When composing a new message in Thunderbird, I must either type the full recipient address or manually select a contact; unlike other email clients, it does not suggest addresses from previous correspondence. This omission is both time-consuming and frustrating. Any ideas how to fix it?

Does the thunderbird team have any plans to expand beyond being an email client and offer their own email service in the future? (I can't wait (I can but I'm really hyped)).

I have found a bug with version 10.1 of the Thunderbird email app for Android.

When I go to Sent Items in the Thunderbird app, choose a previously sent email to view it, then choose 'Edit as new message', then make the necessary changes and choose 'Save draft', Thunderbird crashes and the new message is lost (not getting saved in drafts).

It seems that the last upgrade has broken something with sending emails. With my desktop version, I have no trouble sending and receiving emails. I am using version 142.0 (64-bit) of Thunderbird, and the desktop computer is Windows 10.

I have 2 issues sending emails.

First issue, my Pixel 9 Pro XL does not send emails anymore. It was working fine until recently. The email is stalled in the outbox. I tried reloading the outgoing server settings, I get an error message; see attached error message. My Android receives emails fine, but will not send them. My phone syncs well with my desktop. However, the outbox doesn't sync, so I can't send the stalled emails from the desktop when I'm back in my office.

Second issue is my POS program (Windward Software System 5) stopped sending out emails as well. I worked with the tech department at the software company, and they said it isn't an issue with them, nothing has changed with them, no upgrades or changes on their end. Some of our older machines here, that haven't received the recent upgrade with Thunderbird, are still sending emails fine. Just a couple of computers are having this trouble of not sending emails from out POS software, it's the ones that have received the Thunderbird upgrade. For the outgoing settings, we are using the default port 465, and the connection security is SSL/TLS. Authentication method: is a normal password. I am hoping you have an answer for me. Please don't share the attachment with the community forums. Everything else will be fine.
