Android app is Missing Spam Folder. A Yahoo filter on the server moves important emails to the spam folder. The spam folder does not sync with my other folders. Yahoo places these messages inside the Thunderbird app but they cannot not be read, I cannot find the folder, I cannot sync the folder, and the app does not give any other option on the setting panel. On my phone I have to have both the Firebird and the Yahoo App to see all folders. How can I fix it_

In my Thunderbird client on my tablet (Android), phone (Android), and laptop (Windows 11) over the last week, it has stopped emptying the Trash folder by clicking "Empty". Also, across these platforms the Trash folder will no remain synced, while it appears other system folders remain synced.

As I have not made any client setting changes (prior to troubleshooting this issue), I must assume a recent background change/app update has occured.

Please advise.

I recently updated Tbird Mobile to v21.0. I'm on the latest version of Android released for the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6. The "Empty Trash" and "Empty Spam" commands no longer work. I have to go to the desktop version, empty those folders there, then go back to the mobile version and resync in those two folders to get the trashed files to "go away". This never happened before the v21.0 update.

Is there something I need to do/change, or is this a bug?

Running version 21.0 on Android 17.

Emptied my trash just this morning. Worked fine. Went to do it tonight, said yes to the confirmation and it just sat there. No deletion. Sent a test message from another acct and that arrived fine, so it's not having problems accessing my server via IMAP.

I just downloaded your app (thunderbird) to download some important emails for my lawyer about my SSDI case.

I moved all of the ones I needed to a folder of their own.

I went into your app, found them and apparently clicked something that made them all disappear, it was not "delete" or the trashcan icon.

I've googled and everything I read tells me to go to the trash folder. I do not have a trashcan folder.

I had selected a couple of emails and went to press the menu button dots, but hit this button instead. Emails vanished.

How do I undo what I did?

I can't find a dummies guide to the basic android app interface.

I use Thunderbird on my Android Handy. Last Update a Spam-Choice was implemented to the Dropdown Menu when selected a mail. The Problem: The Spam Choice is too near to the Move Choice, so that a mistakenly mark as Spam happens very often. Can you please put the the Spam Choice to the end of the Dropdown Menu? Thanks a lot!

I currently have Thunderbird installed on both my android and desktop (W11). My android inbox does not mirror my desktop. For example, desktop inbox shows many more emails than the android inbox. The ones that are in both are the same. Why doesn't the android inbox mirror the desktop version?

Additionally, I used receive a ton of junk mail when using Edison mail. Now I receive very little. Sounds like a good thing but occasionally one gets flagged as span and it isn't. They continue to show up in the Edison mail spam folder but not in Thunderbird.

I was hoping to drop Edison mail and use Thunderbird exclusively, but I need the confidence before doing so.

I was in Sweden and got the Skånetrafiken App on my mobile. Now I have a steady stream of Swedish Scam emails that go direct to my inbox. I have been reporting them but they keep coming daily. What can I do?

Is there a plan to replicate the desktop spam filter in android? My ISP does not filter spam, but the desktop Thunderbird takes care of 95% of them. In Android, they just appear in my inbox and I have to manually delete them. Most days I get around 30 spam emails, ss it's a pain. I'd very much like to have the same experience with spam in android as I have in desktop.

I have just installed Thunderbird on my Lenovo tablet. My incoming mail is apparently going into the trash folder. I can't find anything in the settings to redirect it.
