On Windows 11 - I keep getting logged out of Firefox after I close down. Then, when I enter my password to log in I get two emails with the same code and then two log in screens and duplicate emails to confirm login. I can only see one profile set up. I have not got automatic removal of history etc set. This does not happen on my Android devices. Any advice please as is getting more than frustrating!

I tried to login to Autodesk for some discussion about file retention, etc. I logged in using my user id and password and then Autodesk sent me a code as a two factor identification function. When the page opened the place to enter the code it looked like the image that I have attached. I could not enter the code supplied by Autodesk as FireFox kept trying to get me to do something with email masks. Is there anything I can do to fix it?

I was testing a new website for a developer. I wanted to see if DNS worked correctly on various browsers. I downloaded Firefox and the test was OK. However, something happened with Yahoo and Facebook, apparently those sites think I am on another device. Where I have to log in, something with second level authentication was off, after several attempts I am now locked out. I suspect a Firefox setting is the problem. Suggestions on how to reset firefox?

I'm trying to log in on a new machine, but when Firefox sends the 2FA confirmation code, it never arrives. I whitelisted accounts@firefox.com, but that makes no difference. Is there a way to turn off 2FA? Is there another solution?

I want to change the security rule. I have to get a code from my email in order to login to paypal. I wouldnt have any problem doing a text. Is there anything I can do?

I DO NOT OWN A SMART PHONE.X IS ASKING ME TO PROVE I'm human by scanning a QR code with a smart phone in order to log in to my account. It was told to me that this will allow me to scan that code. I am leery about using it as Mozilla does not monitor it. It gets mostly good reviews but people complain about stability. I will just use it once to get into my account. Should I proceed> Thanks very much.

It is becoming a serious pain in my butt that it seems every time I turn around that I have to log BACK into my mozilla account. and when I do I ALWAYS have to wait on an e-mail code. and when I get it I have to click into the field before I can paste in the code.

Are you guys going out of your way to make this a pain in my ass?

Do you have some way I can use an authenticator or Yubi key?

Do I H A V E to use 2nd factor? I have a password manager with unique strong passwords. I feel like you guys are living in the 90 when passwords was new and rotating passwords was concidered best practice.

and why is it that many websites do not function properly unless I am logged into my mozilla account? Youtube especially doesn't function right unless I am logged into Mozilla with my firefox browser. Are you guys tracking me?

all this to say please make it easier to login to my browser profile. This should not be a 12 step process.

I am a subscriber to Mozilla Relay that includes the "Phone Mask". I believe I correctly configured everything ages ago, but am feeling VERY FRUSTRATED whereby I am trying to purchase tickets for a local event and the SMS code (that expires in 15 seconds) sent to my mozilla phone mask is NOT getting to my iPhone. Isn't there an end-to-end test you all have to track down misconfigurations or other issues?

I have lost access to the primary email on the account. I have 2fa setup on the account and I have backup recovery codes. When I go to add another email it sends a code to the primary email, which has no access. Is there a way to use either 2fa or backup codes instead of the code sent to primary email?

I have been getting problems with profiles under 2 separate account after trying org my work in to workspaces in a recent transfer to Linux mint. Some of the obstructions did not make sense such as enter your email and we will ask things only you know in attempting to check what was wrong with my pass. But the interface will simply not respond getting me stuck unable to proceed. So went on my handsets that corresponding to these two profiles to sort why correct pass was not opening the way. In one of them it simple and one reason I don't like so-called rec key. The 2nd required rec key and after keying that long thing I was able to see the pass and it is what it is. Now however my rec key needs replacement so click download which broughtbup indicating it was download but nothing. Went and my download folder, notification , even Documents... Nothing as I am sure this may lead to problems in the future of not soon and wanting to get my organising over asap, I want to tell somebody in charge to help address the problem

Trying to sync Firefox to my mobile device. I get to this point where Firefox on my computer says:

Enter authentication code to continue to account settings Open your authentication app and enter the authentication code it provides.

It wants a 6 digit code. But I don't have an authentication app. How can I set one up for Firefox to sync to my mobile device?
