I'm using Firefox in Windows. I lost all of my bookmarks... never mind how, I think I can prevent it from happening again... and I'm trying to figure out whether there is a way to recover them.

Looking in the profile folder, I see three profiles. One is listed on the about:profiles page, and is identified as the default. The other two aren't listed there at all.

I need to select each of those other two and see whether my bookmarks can be recovered from them. But how. The about:profiles page has a button for creating a new profile, but not for adding an existing profile to the page. Either it's listed there or it's not.

It seems to me that I could create a new profile and make it the default folder, then quit Firefox and replace it with a copy of one of the profiles I want to investigate. However, I lost my bookmarks by doing something similar to that, so I'm wary of doing it again.

Can someone explain what is happening here--why there are three profiles in the default profile's folder but only one list listed, and why there's apparently no provision for making Firefox list the others?

I have st installed Lime on my old Asus Zenbook an have installed Nord VPN. I am using the Firefox browser showing connected to the internet but am unable to access my webmail account and its popping up messges advising Problem loading webpage and another showing 502 Bad gateway. I am also having problem with the Zenbooks Keyboard with keys randomly not operating when pressed but will work after a prolonged or multi pressing.

I thought I was updating firefox today but the process lost the order of my book marks and makes them extremely hard to find. Some I used several times a day with one click. Now it takes me five clicks just to get to them and then a search. The old system worked perfectly for my purposes. Is there anyway to get back the old bookmarks tab and my old bookmarks in relatively decent order? The text promised me all my bookmarks,etc. I never would had clicked refresh if I had any idea this would be the outcome.

after the new version of firefox update my home page which i have always had Newsmax.com does not load says problem loading page i have tried several times and it will not load. it works in Google chrome so why not in Firefox

Hello. When I open a new tab page, all 6 panels below keep scrolling right like their not loading correctly. I have tried everything to make this go away since it is very distracting. Any ideas of how to fix?

Again, on my Firefox Google screen everything changed from black letters on white to white letters on black. I've googled instructions on how to fix this, but nothing has worked.

Under Settings>Privacy/Security>Browsing Data there is no longer the option to Manage Cookies, despite the help section saying that is where to find it. There is no other place in all of Settings to find the list of cookies. There is only the ability to delete all cookies in History, which I have no desire to do. I edit the cookie list weekly, and it is only now, mid August 2026, under Firefox 153 on Win 10 that I no longer have access to them. How do I get it back?

After reinstalling Firefox due to it being slow, no matter what settings, Firefox always opens and focuses on a new unwanted tab. But only if there are no extra tabs open except for my 5 pinned ones.

This behaviour started before I installed any Extensions.

How can I stop this?

On my Firefox Home Page, I selected two rows of PINNED shortcuts. Each time I open a webpage that webpage is added not only to the two selected rows of shortcuts, but "keeps" EVERY webpage selected after filling the two selected shortcut rows. It is not only annoying and inconvenient, but s l o w s work time to a crawl around these shortcuts ... few, if any, are helpful. If I want to re-entry an UNPINNED shortcuts, I go to history and select the one I want. WHEN is Fire Fox to solve this seemingly simple but annoying problem?

The website fortunesultimateslots.com stopped letting me login on 8-3-26. I had been going to that site daily with no problem. No other website has stopped working on Firefox.

That site works for me on Edge but I would rather use Firefox.

Hi everyone,

After a recent series of updates to both my mouse and Firefox, my mouse no longer scrolls within Firefox. The mouse is Logi wireless mouse. Firefox is the latest version. The mouse scrolls fine in other apps, like WhatsApp, Outlook, Word etc. but not in Firefox.

When I try to scroll in Firefox, it stutters, jumps and will continue to jump even when I stop scrolling on the mouse.

I have spoken to Logi and there is no issue with the mouse itself.

I have tried Troubleshoot and Private mode, but still the same issue, so its not an add-on or extension problem.

Is anyone else having this issue over the last couple of days, or have any ideas on how to get back to smooth scrolling?

The issue is most likely with the website, and there is nothing you can do to resolve it. You can notify the website’s administrator about the problem.

Yesterday (August 10) I tried logging into my account on Domini Funds (https://uportal.ultimusfundsolutions.com/app/dominifund/#login). My login worked okay, but only half of the site's menu loaded and none of my account data loaded. There was just a white circle with a blue streak orbiting inside. After 60-90 seconds of this display, I aborted the attempt to access my data.

I tried logging into the site again today after I had been prompted to download and use a new version of Firefox. The same result: log-in was successful, but only a partial menu loaded and none of my account data was loaded. The orbiting blue streak ran for 60 seconds before I gave up and aborted.

I then tried to access the site using an old version of Microsoft Internet Explorer and everything displayed as expected. I had a full menu displayed and I could view and interrogate my account data.

I only visit this site 3-4 times a month. My last visit was on August 1. Everything displayed properly then.

I go to various websites, in this case https://go.valcom.com/EZ-GW1Rezipinstallationmanual (as well as other pages on this same site) and when I try to look at a manual or specs in pdf format, I get a blank screen and the URL looks like the go. and everything after the .com are grayed out. These work fine in Edge and Chrome. This also happens in Troubleshoot mode. No hardware or software changes on my desktop.
