I am looking to be able to INDEPENDENTLY close Firefox (Standard) windows separate from those running in a Private session.

ATM, it does not seem possible to close just one type of Firefox session without the other.

I see this possibly as a simple about:config switch which would allow one to close ALL Standard or Private windows with the respective system tray icon's "Close (All) Windows" OR the Menu's Exit selection. No other behaviors need change.

USE CASE: I frequently use both types of windows and will sometimes close Firefox Standard and unintentionally loose tabs I have not saved in Private.

After liking what I heard about using a master password, esp. when using a dated OS like W7, I created a MP. I then stepped over to my W10 machine and did the same. A few days later I tired of the MP popup, and decided to remove passwords for financial sites, etc., and just leave the saved passwords in my browser. A week later I went to my W10 machine and the MP query popped up. I couldn't, and can't remember, the last 3 characters of my MP.

Is it possible to reset the MP without the MP? I don't care about losing the stored passwords that are on the W10 machine. I'll deal with them individually. Help? Thanks.

Am a longtime subscriber to NYT. In the past few weeks, I'm being asked to verify my account. NYT claims there are multiple devices using the account; in fact, I'm the only subscriber in our household, and I use a Mac desktop unit exclusively. NYT's AI-bot sez Mozilla Firefox may be the problem causing this now-constant nuisance of emailed one-time verification codes.

as of last week, I am getting these tiny popups on the right top page that I cannot stop. I had to ask apple support for assistance and remove them. why is this happening all of a sudden? I run and older Mac version of OS 10.13.6 that I cannot uypdate due to the age of my computer. How can I stop getting these annoying popups? Thank,u.

Mozilla is blocking my attemps to access my employer web site, warning that the site is a malicious site. I've always been able to access this site. How do I upgrade my Apple laptop?

I bought the annual subscription to Mozilla VPN and found that it wouldn't install. This Mac runs Sierra, version 10, I don't need VPN on my newer Mac.

I had two Firefox tabs open in my lower task bar. I closed out one but it was the wrong one. The one I unpinned has all of my tabs, history and book marks. I can't figure out how to recover it.

I followed the instructions for turning off Enhance Security on the website QVC an I still get the same error. I'm reporting it again.

I followed the instructions to turn off the Enhanced Security for that site. I have always been able to click on a single item like a blouse and it takes me right to it for purchase. But when I click on their menu like active wear I get the message below. Why can I access it on a single item be denied the rest of the site.

I can't access the QVC website. I get an error message below. They tell my my browser which is Firefox is blocking me. How can I correct this. I could access it just fine in May and the beginning of June then it stopped.

tyring to get onto Eastjet web page

I have a problem loading the page "claude.ai". yesterday it was working perfectly but today Firefox shows me a blank page. I really don't know what to do. I tried to clear the cache, going in private mode, forcing a reset, closing and reopening. What's the problem? Thanks

On one frequently used website "objectremover.com", Firefox always fails to load the site, giving this error message "This page couldn’t load, Reload to try again, or go back." There is never any indication of why the page could not be loaded. We are on Windows 7 and extended Firefox release. This site could always be loaded in Firefox until one of the most recent updates. This problem has happened on more than one of our computers, yet the site always loads without a problem on Chrome. If this is caused by one of my settings being too strict, is there a way to put in an exception for this site?
