All of my extension buttons disappeared, both from the main toolbar and from the Extensions sub-menu. They are still installed however. The only entry visible in the Extensions button, or in Manage Extension Shortcuts, is for an extension that has no button (Markdown Viewer).
This issue persists even if I switch to a known-good backup of my profile.

I can no longer update or install extensions on my Firefox profile.
When I attempt to update, nothing happens. When I attempt to install a new extension, the Mozilla page states "Installation aborted because the add-on appears to be corrupt."
This appears to be a problem with my profile, because if I create a new profile, I can install extensions with it. However, I do not want to lose my existing extension settings or data.
How can I keep it from signing out everytime I go to a different site?

Yesterday after an update Firefox ate the whole physical memory and swap space. In 2025, how can it be that You cannot write a software without so huge bug? Absurd! I've been using Firefox for many years, it never caused a system halt, it is very disappointing for me.
