Good morning. When I go to the Medicare.gov site and log in, there is a search box to search for things. It asks for zip code and provides a drop down menu to select from. After I do this and initiate a search it just shows a spinning wheel and does not provide the results.

No problem with my internet connection or speed and I turned off enhanced protection and I am allowing pop ups for the site.

I did this on my Samsung phone and it worked fine.

Thanks for any help.

Brian

Please be aware that some sites, specially government-related ones, are generally programmed by unskilled staff that ignore basic programming standards and good practices. They adopt non-standard browser features that are in "beta" stage, wrongly assuming that if it works for them then the page is ready for upload. In the old days these sites only worked with Internet Explorer, now they only work in Chrome and Chrome alone, because that's the only browser they know and use.

This happens quite often and it's very depressing, so keeping a Chrome installation around for government sites is always a good practice.

Fred, It is not the enchanced protection, that was turned off. I tried troubleshoot safe mode, but the dialog box it speaks of never came up and turning it on?

And the rest of my post?
