You broke Firefox somewhere after version 28.0 or 29.0. you have had too many revisions in the past few months. This was bad policy decision Making it work with win 8 is not worth it! We just want to get on the web not fool around with our Hardware firewall allowed lists.

Can you please post the exact issue that is happening? If your firewall is configured to block application versions it is poorly set up.
Configure firewalls so that Firefox can access the Internet might help. But we really need some more information.
