I am stuck with hao123 after downloading Firefox how do I get rid of it please I have tried the suggestions on the web
This bug/malware is pernicious it just won't go away no matter what I try. I have tried all the suggestions I can find on various sites, including this one, with result. It came on the back of Firefox when I downloaded it to my laptop. Please help, it is driving me potty.

Sorry but no version of Firefox for Windows, Mac OSX or Linux from www.mozilla.org or www.mozilla.org/firefox/all comes with this.

FredMcD, the OP posted with a iPad which does not mean using Mac OSX.
I know it does not come bundled with Firefox, some idiot has been linking it somehow - I am not an expert with computers but I did not have it before download Firefox. I just want it gone! Thanks to all for trying to help.
