Hi need to get my old firefox back before installation of new version.

I have a subscription that allows for downloading of videos using a "DOWNLOAD" button that has disappeared after new version of firefox was loaded. also my antivirus application has disappeared. How do i put everything back the way it was. I'm using windows 10.

My favourite weather app is not working on my phone, but they also have a website, so I decided to use the 'install' option from the menu to install a direct link to the website.

When I use this website in Firefox, the first question I get is my location. When I open the website again this is not asked again.

But when I use the installed link on the homescreen it ask's my location every time, like this is not saved or something like that, a bit the same as 'ingognito mode'.

Is there a possibility that when I used the installed link on my homescreen that it save's my location (history) so that it not asked every time I open it ?

I have a new email which has been set up in outlook 365. I have created the new identity in thunderbird which thunderbird set up. The new identity will receive emails, it will send read receipts, but will not send emails. It just says "sending message" but it never goes. I have waited for about 3 minutes and it doesn’t even seem to time out.

I work pretty much exclusively using Unified Folders, in particular a Unified Inbox. Thunderbird 115.11.0 checks for new messages on schedule and downloads from all three of my accounts automatically throughout the day. But if I want to do a manual download, the little cloud-with-an-arrow checks only my primary account, not the other two. Yet when I right-click the little cloud, that identical icon purports to represent all accounts. Am I misunderstanding something? Is there a way to essentially replace the one little cloud with the other so that a right-click and second selection is no longer necessary?

I have been using firefox for years. My current version is 126.0.1 (64 bit). Within the last couple of months(?) I am unable to reach a website that I use on a semi-regular basis axisgis.com/AshbyMA The problem exists on 3 different devices, an HP laptop running win 10, an older desktop running win 10, and an older mac desktop running Catalina 10.15.7 which apple says is up to date. If I use Safari on the mac the website works perfectly. If I use private browsing on the laptop the website works perfectly. If I use private browsing on the desktop the website works perfectly. On the laptop I ran the firefox in troubleshoot mode and the website still would not work. I cleared the cache on the laptop and the website still won't work. Since the problem occurs on 3 different devices that are not synced to each other I can't believe it is a cookie problem. Rebooting devices makes no difference. I rebooted the Comcast modem and the house router, no change.

Any ideas would be welcome.

In earlier version of Thunderbird I could type in the name of a sub folder address book, Thunderbird would recognize it and add all the entries automatically. Now, in the new improved version, this doesn't happen and the only way I can see of adding the names is to manually select and add all the members of the book. Is there a way of getting Thunderbird to add the sub folder members automatically as before?

I cannot see my accounts/emails as they suddenly disappeared. I am able to see my accounts when I go to File > Get New Messages For, but I am unable to do anything with my Thunderbird app. It shows nothing no matter where I click. The app is updated, and I have even uninstalled and reinstalled it.

(G-mail still works) I use Shaw.ca e-mail, and recently have been getting a pop up error message. the error message reads 'The IMAP server imap.shaw.ca does not support the selected authentication method. Please change the Authentication method in the Account Settings Server Settings'. I have read online that the AuthO2 method is upposed to work, but it does no. Acckk - help anyone?

I have used Thunderbird for decades, first on Windows, and in more recent years on linux.

Note this refers to IMAP.

I have subfolders under sent for particular organisations. These have worked well for several years, but recently have found that many are not moved to their relevant folder, and some sent mail that should stay in the main sent folder, end up in just one of the sub folders. If you move it back the the sent folder it returns to that sub-folder The only change that I have made is moving from Plusnet to Zoho to host my mail around the beginning of the year. However, this problem has only been seen relatively recently, and IIRC first seen after a TB update, though there have been other updates since. When I first noticed that the sent mail was not moving to the subfolders I ran the filters manually and all of the other sent mail disappeared, including on the server. Luckily I had a backup.

I may have to make the sent subfolders as subfolders of the incoming mail though I don't really want to do that, and I don't know if I wil still have issues.

Any help will bee greatly appreciated
