When the site upgraded to 3.6 I lost my tool bat and all the functions.
When I allowed the site up-grade to the 3.6 level Firefox, everything worked fine. I turned off my PC and came back later. When I turned on the PC and tried to get Firefox, I get the Main page, but the tool bar is missing...along with all of my bookmarks. I tried rebooting but, no help...

Happened to me just now upgrading to 3.6.14
My toolbar is there, but all bookmarks gone.
When I try to restore yesterday's (automatic, in bookmarkbackups folder) backup, I get the error message
"Unable to process the backup file."
Restarting FF also did not help. Thanks for pointers how I can resolve this ASAP! Uninstall and reinstall older version??

- In Firefox 3.6 versions on Windows and Firefox 4 on Windows and Linux it's possible to hide the "Menu Bar" via "View > Toolbars" or via the right-click context menu of a toolbar.
- Press F10 or press and hold the Alt key down to bring up the "Menu Bar" temporarily.
- Go to "View > Toolbars" or right-click the "Menu Bar" or press Alt+V T to select which toolbars to show or hide (click on an entry to toggle the state).
