Always when i open more tabs for a long time, it gets crashed or gets slow !

Am a web developer. So i use lot of multiple tabs. By a hour or two, the Mozilla gets slow down after opening 10-12 tabs and later it gets crashed which is very irritating. Why this always happen with Mozilla Firefox ?
