Always when i open more tabs for a long time, it gets crashed or gets slow !

Am a web developer. I open multiple tabs always. When am keep on working for two to three hours continuously, Firefox gets slow down and later it gets crashed. Why this happens every time ? I face this issue at least thrice a day. There is no solution for this ? This should keep happening if i continue with Mozilla ?
