See this support article. How do I create a screenshot of my problem? It is best to use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot and make sure that you do not exceed a maximum file size of 1 MB.
Then use the Browse .... button below the Post a Reply text box to upload the screenshot.
I'm not aware of an easy way to change the width of either the address bar or the search bar. Firefox usually resizes them automatically as controls are added to or removed from the toolbar.
There is a settings file which store some dimension information for the bars, named xulstate.json. Mine has this (not consecutively):
"urlbar-container":{"width":"889"} "search-container":{"width":"356"}
Those don't seem to change if I add buttons to the bar, so perhaps they reflect an original or maximum size rather than the actual size??
The xulstore.json file is difficult to read and edit, but the good news is, if you corrupt it and have to delete it, Firefox will create a new one with default settings, so if you like to experiment, there's little harm in trying.
But it may make more sense to wait for additional suggestions.
You can place the mouse pointer between the location bar and the search bar and it will become a resize icon that you can drag right or left with the left mouse button pressed to change the relative width of the two bars.
The total size stays the same and only the relative sizes change. You need to do that in normal mode (i.e. not in Customize mode).

I said I know how to do a screenshot...I was building computers probably before you were born. LOL I created a PNG and a JPG but if I shrink them below 1MEG you cant read it. i just tried it again no go..
Maybe you can crop out the parts that aren't needed. Probably only the top part of the screen is relevant.
If the image is too large and you can't use a higher compression then you can host the image elsewhere and post a link.
