Thunderbird is slow, having problems connecting to the server, and just deleted messages in the inbox on the server, even though the settings tell it not to.
Thunderbird has been having trouble in the last two days connecting to my email server (Earthlink). This morning it began downloading all the messages stored in the inbox on the server. Then the messages in the inbox on the server disappeared. In the settings I have it checked that Thunderbird should leave the messages on the server after downloading them. I've been using Thunderbird for over a year, and it's never done this before. I recently installed a security update (for Mac). I don't know if this could be causing problems.
