Add-on Brief loses functionality with latest FFX version

I just upgraded to Version 36, and now the Brief add-on (feed reader) has lost some functionality. Specifically, the list of all feeds is displayed, but when I click on an individual feed or a folder (e.g., "Computer") to limit the display, the display doesn't change to reflect my choice. Before Version 36, I could bring up a limited view, but now I can't. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling Brief, but there was no change in the behavior. (I am running Windows 8.1 on a Lenovo G700 laptop, if that is relevant.) I checked out the change list for the upcoming Version 37, but that doesn't help me--I'm not the developer, and I'm working with Version 36. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this from the user end? Thanks.

Also, based upon the User Reviews here - https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/brief/reviews/ - it looks like that Add-on is broken in Firefox 36. You might want to try the Development Channel version at the bottom of this page - https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/brief/ - and see if that works better.
