You can check the connection settings.
- Tools > Options > Advanced > Network Connection > Settings

However if this is happening on a mobile device you can try another proxy and mange proxy connections with a proxy app from Google play.
If you have changed the proxy connection settings in about:config, go to that page and search for proxy, then reset the proxy configuration and restart Firefox.
