In the latest Firefox and IE I get this error message when in website tonight in Godaddy.com.

Calling onPageLoad() failed: TypeError: PageDesignerIFrame.jQuery is not a function

I have turned off antirus, scanned for viruses, updated everything, shut down Avast antivirus even turned off my firewall. Yet the website tonight page simply continues to "TRY" and load...yet it fails. THEN I get the above error message

Is this your website, built using a GoDaddy sitebuilder?

If you post a URL, someone could take a quick look and see whether there is an obvious cause.

On your end, are you blocking scripts on your site or an external site required by your site (e.g., using the NoScript extension)?

Yes thats correct. I use website tonight for my 5 page site yet the page;

1) continues to try and load and 2) then I get an error message - Calling onPageLoad() failed: TypeError: PageDesignerIFrame.jQuery is not a function

I understand something is blocking it yet I have;

scanned for viruses turned off firewall turned off avast antivirus updated browsers (IE and Firefox) turned on and off some addons

YET I get the same issues over and over.

Not sure what to do now?

The problem occurs in GoDaddy's tool, not in your site? I won't be able to test that...

I've noticed glitches in GoDaddy's support for Firefox in other parts of their site. You might have to use IE for this feature.

Edit: I just noticed you said you get the same error in IE. Try using IE's compatibility mode, since the newer standards mode is stricter.

You might check your Windows hosts file to see whether anything is blocked/redirected in there.

You also could empty your Firefox cache and delete your relevant cookies.

1. Clear Firefox's Cache

orange Firefox button or Tools menu > Options > Advanced

On the Network mini-tab > Offline Storage : "Clear Now"

2. If needed, delete the site's cookies here

While viewing a page on the site, right-click and choose View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"

In that dialog, the list should be filtered to the current host name. You might also need to clear other godaddy.com cookies, but I don't know since I haven't used the tool.

Then try reloading the page. Does that help?
