why does firefox take pictures in the background?
On October 8th 2018 my phone alerted me to an app taking a picture in the background using a permission without my knowledge. Yet your permission explanation page plainly reads this will not happen. So, why did it? It also says it happened at 22:12 which is an hour later than the time in my timezone. Any explanation would be greatly appreciated.

Hi
I have contacted one of our developers who has explained that this is probably due to an advert on the page that you are viewing in Firefox for Android querying the media devices (such as the camera) that are installed on the device.
You should be presented with a choice of wherther you would like to allow this, and can change this in the Android settings at a later date if you wish.
