ExQuilla licence

Hi,

Just found out that the Exquilla add-on expires and asks me to pay for the licence. I'm using two MS Exchange mails now with exquilla and I like to continue using them in Thunerbird without going back into all the settings etc. I also have to act quick since expiry is in a few days.

Is there a free alternative?

Looking forward hearing of you.

You have been paying for the license because you are using something that someone spent a load of time and effort creating and maintaining.

People often seem happy to pay for a mechanic to maintain a car, but are reluctant to pay for someone to write code to faciliate computer use.

Do you have to use an email/server that only offers MS Exchange?

Even MS charge to buy license for 'Outlook' software or will include it will other paid for bundles.

Current info on Exquilla. It clearly explains the costs and why a small annual charge is made. https://exquilla.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/212909906

But as you have two, I can see why you are looking at your options.

Some Exchange servers are configured to allow IMAP access, but if you weren't provided IMAP details, then perhaps that isn't available for you. Some deliberately do not switch on the imap option, so other methods are necessary.

Thanks for the reply.

The free alternative looks too much effort for me, but i'm happy to pay for two individual licences.

Cheers,
