When I want to go to the NY Times, and i type "nyt" the address bar automatically populated with the rest of the URL "nytimes.com". When I do the same thing with gmail and "gmail" it runs a search on a search engine instead of completing the rest of the URL.

Why would it do this for one website and not another? How do I fix this, I use gmail all the time so its a bit of a time waster.

i have Firefox on mobile ( android Samsung a125f) and PC.

i wanted to transfer all open tabs from mobile to PC.after sync .

i can see open tabs below sing out in Firefox account window in my PC. i wanted to save them  but i only can select them  only one by one and i can not select all them together. 

also i did right click and left click on title: "Firefox on Samsung sm-A125f" but nothing occurred. can you guide me about this issue? i wanted to upload a image file( it is 20.2k) of it, but after 10 minutes it did not uploaded. i tried twice , but it was not successful. thanks

RIGHT i was told to clear cache - and also to do it - like ctrl + f5 Nothing seemes to happen something i gting in the way of operating this awful self-willed machine

After update my firefox its showing a share option on each featured image on amazon product page. How may I can turn this off?

In my "Themes" section viewing the add-ons manager, I can view all the themes I have downloaded, and I would really like to disable the recommendations. They are not relevant to me, and they take up space and are a distraction from those I am interested in. Is there a way to disable the "Recommended Themes" section???

My issue is that I have a huge amount of likes in my Instagram interactions and I would prefer to not have to just manually scroll. There are extensions that if the scrollbar is at the edge of my browser screen they all work. but sadly if its a scrollbar not at the edge of my browser screen they do not take affect.

just inform me what you need me to get to get from the body inspect element in order to know what element is the scrollbar i will do that for you!

i just want this to be able to be autoscrolled, but the extensions wont do it

I like the button that shows the status of anything I elect to download (e.g. an image to put in an error report).

However about a week ago I started getting a pulldown style display in addition to the little status icon. Is there any way to shut that off? It's annoying.

Cursor won't show when writing a letter or note. So I don't know where i stop typing? It works here but not when I open my browser to write letter?

Okay so basically for example lets say i want to permanently just for my screen have this image deleted/or hidden whatever how can I do this without using an extension?

I use Firefox personally and for business. I use a lot of very useful extensions and like many users I customize my experience. I have found that the number of extensions I use every day is larger then can be shown on the extension toolbar. I am aware that clicking on the "jigsaw" icon will open up all the extensions, however this is not practical and wastes a lot of time. I would like to substantially reduce the size of the search box and increase the available size for my extensions to be in one click territory on the toolbar, how do I best achieve that please?

So I got ransomwared awhile back - the AZQT one - and managed to get out of it with copious use of backups! Thing IS - it's left my Outlook/Hotmail E_mail page in Russian - and I can't select 'change to English' because all the sub-menus are in Russian and I don't know what to click on!

Now when I first load up the page, I get a lovely-looking little box 'Firefox has detected this page is in Russian, would you like to translate to English' (or words to that effect, y'know.) But the box appears and disappears so fast I don't have time to click on it. I managed to get to it a couple of times and it worked perfectly. But normally it vanishes before I can get there.

How do I make the little box stick around longer so I can click on it? Or is the same option hidden in a Firefox menu somewhere - I'm not the world's greatest Internet browser geek, so please keep answers simple! - and I could click on it in a Firefox menu? Like I said - if I GET to it in time, it works like a dream. It's just GETTING to it fast enough before it vanishes that's the problem!

Just ad an 'orrible thought. I hope that if it's in a Firefox menu, that's not been turned into Russian too!

Is there any way to Save directly to a specific List I've created?

Now, I only see how to Create a List, but then I have to Save (to my general Saves), the Copy To List, then delete from general Saves if I don't want duplication.

Help?

I have Yahoo.com on my desktop which takes me to my email account. I would like to get it on my task bar but when I try and move it down it is adding it to Firefox on the task bar. I can't seem to get it down there to stay

There are various search engines with their own term and conditions for ranking. If I want to rank my website [removed website] how many months would it take after everything is done?
