Firefox is the only application affected (latest 107.0.1, Windows 11 pro latest updates). I have updated all drivers, run system and memory checks, uninstalled deleted remaining files and registry settings, twice actually all to no avail.

I have recently changed ISP but cannot see how that affects just Firefox (Chrome/Opera/Edge all work) and also moved to Bit Defender antivirus. Here I think I saw startup installations in Chrome etc for bit defender but never for Firefox. I have tried turning off all virus web protection still no joy.

I have looked briefly at the crash reports but with my level of expertise I can see no common crash reason.

I have had no add-ins installed for last week while trying to get this to work again. I have used Firefox for years and have no wish to move to another browser but this situation is driving me nuts.

If there is anybody out there with any ideas on next steps I could take?

I'm using firefox 122.0, 64bits, on windows 10.

Since a few days (issues might be older, I have not used those site in a while) I canot watch netflix, I get the aparently infamous error code F7121-3078, which aparently means my browser is out of date, which it's not...

I also canot use musescore anymore, https://musescore.com/user/166080/scores/359836 for exemple, the page load halfway and then I get a firefox error that this page is slowling it down and ask me to close it. It's the same for every single music sheet, the rest of the website works fine.

I've tried to use troubleshoot mode for both website, and it's not working. I'm runing out of ideas so I've come here for help.

I cannot access https://www.ebay.co.uk/ with Firefox. Just get a blank screen and it never seems to load. I can access other sites ok in Firefox and I can access it in Edge. I ran the refresh option to disable all plugins and it didn't fix it.

Today firefox can't lunch at all, I made a clearing, also reinstalling (but not "clear" reinstall). There is no any crashes or crash reports, it just doesn't launch

Hi, yesterday I got a new computer and I installed the Firefox on it, but when I started the browser for the first time, it was a mistake (I pushed the button by accident), so I immediately closed it. It was asking something about allowing the use of coolkies, but I didn't answer to that and simply closed the window.

The thing is that since then my firefox don't load properly. The buttons and the autocomplete are normally responding, but all pages (including the settings) are blank and sometimes it won't start at all and I have to close it with taskmanager to make it open next time (but still blank).

Does anyone have the idea what's going on?

I've got the latest English (US) version of Firefox 108.0 from this website. The problem is with Windows crashing in few seconds after Firefox is launched. Although this trouble appeared yesterday (maybe after the automatic update of FF - I'm not sure).

Please advise any solution ASAP!

I seem to have gotten something called Google Ad Services. It frequently interferes with my getting to websites and I cannot find how to block it or remove it. HELP!

My problem is this:

If I click on the open new tab button, and then I keep my cursor there, such that I get the little tooltip "Open a new tab (Ctrl+T)..." , Firefox will stop the address bar from updating---it won't show my keyboard inputs, not will it search, or do anything else. This will resolve itself after I move my cursor away from the open new tab button and the tooltip stops showing, even my inputs will appear there.

This quite annoying, especially when opening a tab to search for something quickly...

I tried to log in to my bank and it says "access denied." I may have changed a setting or something on Firefox or my VPN. I'm confused, am not very computer savvy. I went to Apple store last weekend for phone and they said I should use Safari for info security, so I made that default on my Mac Mini (where I'm writing now) for a couple days, but then got blocked from a website where I plan to apply for a job, so I went back to Firefox, after I read articles saying that Firefox is more secure. I am using a VPN, so is that part of the problem ? (shouldn't be, because I have had that for a year or so). I don't know what to do, and it is after 12:45 am now, and I have to go to bed, have to get up for work in 6 hours. I hope someone has some help for me when I log in tomorrow. Every time i open Firefox a little window comes up and says for a fraction of a second that im using an older version of Firefox (Even though that i'm using the latest) and then it crashes. I've tried everything, from reinstalling, rebooting, making exceptions in the firewall and even manually installing Firefox, but nothing. Before anyone asks, i do not have AVG, Avast or Commodo, and the Firewall is the basic Windows one. The issue is very similar to this one:https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/970099. I also tried what they said, but unfortunately nothing woks for me.

So this issue just started and it's really annoying.

In order to actually see the downloads, I first have to enable the menu bar and then go Tools -> Downloads

Clicking the ↓ button should open a panel of recent downloads but nothing appears when I click on it. Furthermore, the "download complete" notification that this panel provides are no longer present.

The animation for the panel still works though.

Is there a solution to this?

Hi, my Firefox on Win10 doesn't work, I've been forced to go back to Chrome. After a crash in Win10, Firefox doesn't work anymore: it opens, be it launched by me or by other programs, but it just sits there, blank, doing nothing. It is impossible to interact with menus and everything. Task Manager shows two open instances of the browser, using RAM, but the browser doesn't do anything. It doesn't "crash" and it doesn't freeze, it just stays like that. If I quit it and try opening it again the PC tells me it's open already, and Task Manager shows a couple instances staying there after quitting it, as if it stayed stuck. I tried resetting it from the Apps settings of Windows, but nothing happened, I tried uninstalling it and then installing it again, but nothing happened. Restarting the PC a couple of times changed nothing. In the end, I had to go back to Chrome and even put it as default browser because all programs were calling up Firefox which stayed unresponsive. Anybody knows what I should do in a case like this?

I used to be able to scroll to the bottom of my Youtube subscription list, to see the very first posted videos of all of my subscriptions, going back to the first days of Youtube in 2005. Granted, not all of the videos would show up, and I don't know if that is a Youtube problem or a Firefox problem, but most of the videos would be there. Now, after going back less than a year in the archive, the scrolling just kind of peters out. Firefox becomes unresponsive to any key press or mouse click, and all I can do is quit the program. What has changed? Has Firefox gotten even worse at memory management? it was always a total pig with memory, but has it reached the point where it just plain malfunctions and can't recover? If that is the case, then Firefox devs had better get their spit together and work on optimization. I really don't want to have to start using Edge, thank you, no. I only use Edge to view PDFs.
