I've only been having it issue since upgrading to Ubuntu 22.04. Firefox (103.0.2) will lock up (not the pc, it will keep working in other apps). It doesn't seem to matter about the number of tabs open, or what sites I'm accessing. It 'seems' random, and closing Firefox and reopening it seems to work for a short while before locking up again. I'm not a tech guru so I don't know exactly what to include here, like logs, or other info. The other issue associated with this issue is, when it locks, and I restart, Firefox does not start the first time I click on it. I have to click on it again and when I do, it will start, but usually (not every time) I get an error message along with the open home page of Firefox. I have to press the (not sure what to call it) windows key and switch to the error to close it. In the past, I've always had a great experience with Firefox, but this is starting to really be annoying! Especially when I have four of five tabs open and have to do a restart. Firefox doesn't seem to realize it's had a problem so the option to re-open tabs with a restart doesn't happen. So I have to use history, which can be troublesome and confusing, to get back to the pages I was reading. I only open multiple tabs most often when I'm researching an issue and want to 'order' the tabs so I read the ones that look like they apply the most to my research topic. So it really is an annoying issue. So much so, that I have been looking to switch browsers. But I really do not like the large commercial entities not to name names, but I may have to suck it up and install the Big G's browser, the Big C! )^: (note: if you respond requesting additional information, please be kind and offer how to obtain the info! So, for my work, I use a website with a built-in design tool for analyzing roof shading. The website hosting it is Aurora Solar. On any other browser, it works fine, but on Firefox, rather than displaying an image, it just shows blank white. I've tried asking the tool's support, but their only suggestion was using a different browser, which I'd like not to have to do if I can help it. I've disabled all extensions for the site and cleared the cache to no avail. Is there anything else I can try?

this has been a problem that a lot of us Facebook and Firefox user have and are facing and yet to be fixed. I have seen some people stare they're going to other browsers I do not want to do that but it is getting to the point where i may need to. It does not do this on Chrome or edge, Now it is said that it may be the extensions well I have disabled or turned them off and still doing it . Please could someone check into it was supposed to be resolved in newest version but it is not

Firefox is displaying some pages and parts of pages in another language. The language settings are correct--English--and most pages are displaying properly, but some (including facebook.com, instagram.com, the default Mozilla homepage, and some Mozilla dialogue boxes) are not. Fresh boot, one instance of Firefox, one tab of Firefox, 15 processes of Firefox. Really?!

Sometimes one or more of these processes hogs my CPU.

I've looked at many suggestions online and either they are inaccurate, inapplicable, or they don't fix the problem.

Try to do a search and fails however I go to Chrome and no problem. Appears there is a sort of break in last upgrade which I just completed. This is MOST frustrating!!!!!

Hi, I have an old mid 2011 iMac running on OS High Sierra 10.13.6. I have updated to the latest version, I restarted my computer, and Firefox crashes suddenly at least a couple of times a week, if not more. Is this a problem that can be fixed or is this just going to be the status quo now?

Works on Safari and Chrome.

Starting in July 2022, when I launch gmail at the usual url https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/#inbox, My Gmail is a blank screen on Firefox. I cleared my cookies and always ensure I am using the latest update for Firefox. I tried disabling addons, clearing cookies, etc . Now, in order to access gmail, I have to use alternative browsers. Does anyone know if there is a current BUGZILLA issue opened for this problem (I looked earlier and could not workarounds or bug fixes for this - but, may have missed it in my search?) I noticed other reports of this issue from other Firefox users as well.

I am continuing to fail logging in to my Netspend.com account. I am logging in with the correct Username and Password recognized by NetSpend. I have removed the cache. I have investigated if cookies relative to this NetSpend address are blocked. None are. NetSpend support shows no error with my account, on their computers. And, they have no control of cookies.

Would you suggest what I can modify to be successful in logging into my account in NetSpend.com from my Desktop computer ?

NetSpend technical support suggested not to SAVE my Password or Username, having Firefox as my operating browser, proposing Firefox will revert to a former password, unseen by me; thereby not allowing me entry into my NetSpend account.

I just noticed that websites are now getting a blue border when links are clicked [FF Version 103.0.2 (64-bit)] and the funny thing about it is that sometimes the border disappears ... but it comes back eventually. Anyone else having the same bug?

As of 16 August Firefox Development Edition continually crashes.

Firefox standard is fine.

Tried the following 1. Shutdown and restart 2. Refresh 3. Uninstall, download and reinstall (4 times) 4. Chkdsk /r with restart then uninstall and reinstall 5. Open in troubleshoot mode 6. Tried incognito window 7. Tried disabling AV (Eset)

No change other than when the crash happens. Initially it would require opening a few tabs and browsing - now it crashes on startup.

Given that no other applications are behaving adversely, that Firefox standard works, that this was working find until 12 hours ago - my suspicion is it is something to do with the Developer edition.

Any other suggestions welcome.

I am running xampp on windows10.

Firefox works just great (not developer edition).

Experiencing problem with firefox browser only, functions normally in Chrome using Microsoft platform. Picture is below. All buttons on page seem to be effected. The icon is not loading and randomly sized letters appear. Image attached as an example, e.g. search/magnifying glass and forward and back arrows.

I am not a developer. How do I fix this in settings?

Yesterday for most of the day Yahoo mail was working fine. Last night I was able to pull up my emails, but all the controls were not working, Can't delete, arrow up or down, settings won't come up. It's like all the tabs are not highlighted to click on. I haven't done any updates, nothing changed. It's not Yahoo, works fine in Chrome.

Wasted a whole bunch of time when Firefox decided to install an update (I had previously downloaded) automatically. I did not touch my machine. A dialog came up and before I could read it and choose to cancel, the installation began. Took at least 16 minutes. I had checked "check for updates but let me choose to install", but it didn't give me a chance to decline. According to the web, the suggestion is choose "Never check for updates", but that choice is not there. I don't want ANY kind of auto update or auto install. Please don't suggest I program anything, thanks.
