I do know know if you even understand what i am trying to say here but ill try my best lets say i am in Facebook on Firefox and i am typing something. Sometimes when i an typing a pink bar comes up at the bottom left of the screen? not sure if it Firefox or windows but sem to come up only in Firefox. Recently comes up a lot

I've been looking for help for a week now as to what happened to my ability to print from Firefox? Everything was fine until last week with the update. It's not my printer as I am able to print from other browsers. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Trying to clear saved printer setting per Troubleshooting advice. I even deleted it from my computer to try and get an earlier version but it keeps bringing me back to the latest version that does not work. The worst part was I was trying to back up my computer (restore point) to an earlier date my Webroot was not allowing me to do that I I could not get that turned off. I called the Geek squad who remoted in and made things worse. She somehow deleted my ONLY restore date there. So for a week I have been trying to find help. You are my last resort before I switch to another browser. I work from home so this is not convenient, as I print often. Switching browsers just to print is wasting time (I don't like the other browsers). HELP!

Hello. I see a folder with this name (BSP2 trash folder for undo of bookmark deletes - DO NOT REMOVE !)

occasionally among my real bookmarks. Rarely is there a link inside one. What the heck is it? Why is it there? And should I really not dispose of it?

Hi, I'm running Firefox 118.0.1 on Ubuntu 23.04, with no plugins and extensions disabled. In gmail, if I type into the search box, gmail shows an instant set of search results as a drop down list from the search box. The problem is that if my mouse happens to be over where that list appears, then often, once the list appears, subsequent keystrokes are misinterpreted as keyboard shortcut commands, rather than additional characters to add to the text in the search box (the focus is on the search box while I'm typing). This doesn't happen in Chrome, but I'm not sure if it's a Firefox or Gmail issue. Anyone else see this? Josh

I am a very long user of Firefox but absolutely hate the migration to an upgraded PC. I was trying to backup my firefox settings/profile to save passwords, bookmarks, etc. When I went through the process of creating the profile, it reset my Firefox settings altogether and now populates my Windows desktop with firefox folders and files (folders like cache2, minidump, startupCache). If I delete the files, once I rerun Firefox, they come back. How do I revert to the typical setup where those files are held in the User area or otherwise? As it stands, Firefox is totally unusable.

This new update, every tab is closed! Annoyed is an understatement. This has never happened before. Really really annoyed to the point of changing browsers after using this for years now.

The newest version reloads and resets nearly every time computer restarts over the past couple weeks. Same thing today, however, now I cannot load anything. I can get to settings, etc but it will not load websites - no error code, just keeps "thinking"

I am able to use Chrome, so it is not an internet/router issue.

vpn plugin on one browser won't connect to internet so i have to stop using it to go anywhere. if i use the vpn for the whole system, using a firefox browser doesn't give me clean connections so i can't get to some sites. any suggestions? do they know about this? i noticed in my settings i am now using a custom setting for tracking and a reinstall of the plugin said it now had to have access to 'private windows' which i've never had to do before. do i need to switch to the chromium browsers? cheers in advance.

I need login.json en key4db but when I backup them en use them on a new profile the passwords are not showing and i need a verry important password thats stored in the can anyone help me with recovering this?

Hello, Firefox somehow crashed. Opening did not reinstall the tabs. This has happened couple of times in the past 10+ years and I was able to recall from History to reinstall the Tabs. Now I don't see that function in the Menu. Please help. I know there is a time limit to re-install them.

I have always been able to login to walmart.com, but the last few days the "verification screen" does not respond and does not let me in. I can still log in on two other browsers, but I prefer firefox. Any help out there?

Every time I try to open a pdf file in firefox, I have a problem as the attached image show. I think it's a font error and the only customization I have is the better fox plugins and the addons bellow.

Sometimes I get notifications from Firefox which send me to "usefulcontentsite.com" (don't click this, might be harmful!) and when I click them, uBlock Origin blocks them. So I'm pretty certain that is spam (or worse). However, I could never attribute this to any page or maybe some harmful extension I have installed. Also, I mostly block site's requests for notifications.

Here is the list of installed add-ons: - ClearURLs (recommended by Mozilla) - Firefox Multi-Account Containers (official extension) - KeePassXC-Browser - uBlock Origin (recommended by Mozilla) - User-Agent Switcher and Manager (recommended by Mozilla)

So imo nothing exotic here.

Does anyone here have a clue where those notifications might come from?

My firefox has jumped back to an earlier setting and I cannot get it back to latest computer did an update and that's when it went wrong also get message cannot load xpcom Help.

Pretty niche problem, but I couldn't find anyone else with the same kind of problem. Whenever I try to download a file with "%" on its filename, the "%" character gets changed to an underscore. Like say, if I try to download a file named "Skyrim 100% save file", it becomes "Skyrim 100_ save file". Not sure why this is even happening, but it only happens in Firefox. Not Chrome nor Edge.
