What would cause websites not responding. I have no malware and the cache is clean. Could it be in the properties, or whatever.

Thank you. It's very frustrating.

I had several windows open each with different tabs in them.

I shut down them down and switched off my Mac.

On restarting my Mac, one of the windows had disappeared from the restore session. I've checked my History but the tabs don't appear there.

I'm using the latest version of FF on a Mac Air M2

Please advise.

As Firefox was acting up I was going to uninstall and reinstall. It was suggested that I "refresh" it instead. Following that "refresh" my tabs bar is missing. How do I get it back? Also now the address bar is below the bookmarks bar. I can live with that but I need the tabs bar. FFOX 120.0.1 on Windows 11

Ever since I loaded 120.0.1 (64 bit) I have had problems accessing numerous sites. For example, https//HOn30.org. FIrst I get several "Having trouble ..." messages, and when it does come up it's a blank screen. I have had this happen wtih Library of Congree, eBay, and most sites from linking within another web site. I have tried playing with the "HTTPS mode" and the "DNS over HTTPS" to no avail. What changed with this version and how do I fix it. Win10 Sp1 64bit Dual Xeon E5 CPUs 128gb RAM nVidia Quadro K5200 w/8gb VRAM C: = 1tb CT1024 SSD (Crucial) D: = 2tb 7200 rpm WD E: = 5tb SSD (Samsung) F: = 1.5tb Seagate (can you tell I used to be tech support?) Almost every time I open Firefox it has changed my screen look, my preferences and my security settings. I'm lucky if my restoring lasts 2 days. For example; this morning I opened Firefox and all appeared to be OK. This is afternoon and Firefox has come up with a dark screen, changed preferences and altered my security settings. I've raised this subject before and I'm really tired of doing this. I favour Firefox because I like the relative independence of it, whereas MS and others seem to pry on everything one does. I also think MS is deceitful in that I cannot get back my MS Office (that I paid for) after a rebuild.

Since approximately July 2023, Firefox gives me a beachball and pauses for about 10 seconds whenever I change between it and another app, or between one Firefox window and another. The same behavior does not occur with other browsers, likewise whether my connection is WiFi or wired.

I have No Proxy set in Network Settings. I am running a 2021 M1 Max Macbook Pro on Ventura 13.5.2.

I would appreciate any advice on how to troubleshoot and fix. Thanks.

When I run a virus or add remover like Malware-bytes it considers the application a "PUP: Legacy" item and counts it as an item to be quarantined or removed. The count of items like this are adding numerous hits that keep growing. How can i stop this from happening?

If you see on the attached image, on the far right side is a LastPass red logo (red box, 3 white dots). I have been using this setup for so long I have no idea how it got there. Can you direct me to where that might be in the settings?

I am trying to re-create the setting on another computer.

There are certain website elements that won't open in firefox, but when i go to other browsers they open. I've tried deleting cookies/cache to no avail. An example is in this link: https://www.mlssoccer.com/clubs/new-york-red-bulls/roster/ there is a table under active roster but i can only see it in Edge or chrome. And there are other website's I've had similar issues with.

I'm getting the above message after installing the latest FireFox update. I've been using the site with FireFox since 2006 and now it won't connect. I tried connecting on another computer with FireFox and it worked just fine. Verified that it was the same version and it is. Tried accessing the same site using Google and once again, it connected just fine. But somehow, since I updated the browser on this computer, it will not connect.

I had the IT rep try it on their computer and it connected. So something has happened with the update I made yesterday. Help, please!

I use Firefox for Mac. Often when I want to click on a link or complete an on-line form, a long list of unwanted suggestions pops up and orevents me doing this. Only by hitting Escape can I get control back.

By the way, I don't want any solution which involves clearing the cache, as I value that help.

Hello wonderful Mozilla Firefox,

Could you please educate me on how I may change the default view of my bookmarks. I feel like it did not used to default to the "other bookmarks" in the "Manage Bookmarks" library window (ctrl+shift+o). I find it a bit annoying that it defaults all the way to the very last folder in my whole library. How to fix this? I tried to delete this folder but that is not possible. I do not need to delete, I just want for my view to default to either the very top, or possibly to remember its last accessed folder/location. Is this possible?

every time I check a like on tiktok a window pops up requiring to move a puzzle piece to where it fits in order for the like to register a real pain in the butt that should not be happening PS does not happen with chrome

Firefox has always maintained that current tabs will be restored after a reboot of the browser, and indeed that was the case for the first half-dozen years I've been a subscriber. That has not been the case for the past 4 - 6 months however. I have the correct Settings for this, so it is not on my end. Why do I always get a fresh Firefox browser whenever I update the version (which is quite regular lately . . . maybe a new version of Firefox every 3 weeks). Please help.
