My Password manager signs me out everytime I close Firefox. I'm pretty sure its a privacy setting or something in the Firefox app and not the extension, as the extension works on my other PC and I found no such setting in the extension. Does anyone have a Idea what setting this might be?

I have been using Firefox for about a decade. Lately, most of the websites I use have not been working properly (from utilies and providers to my own website admin page) Some adresses won't even start to load when enetered into the bar.

I have a lot of bookmarks and bookmarks folders, yes. But I hope this is not the issue, as I need them for work.

I am using Mullvad vpn. (found Mozilla's VPN pretty much useless : it tells you right away you're connected, even when it is not actually using proper tunnels yet, especially on IOS. and when locating the VPN in France, France's news websites would refuse to play videos, stating that I am in the US...)

I use Evernote a lot, but over the last few days it's clipper stopped working as well (when clicking the email link to verify my Evernote account, the link opening in Firefox never opens a page..)

I have to use Safari for half of my work online now, which means I will switch everything to Safari next week if I cant find a solution to make Firefox work.

I already erased and re-downloaded Firefox quite a few times. Changing, then resetting all preferences and security settings. To no avail.

I'm trying to mark up a pdf. The pen symbol is there. When you click on it, it opens up a menu. It will not write, but it does move the screen, which is not wanted either. The menu will not close unless you turn the pen off. Possibly related, my snip & sketch will not actually take a screen shot. I just get a white page. I can't screen shot any of this.

I am getting VERY frequently the error message: PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR when I start up Firefox. It does go away if I close the browser and start it up again within a few moments. But If I let the computer sit without using the browser, it comes back. Went through all of the steps mentioned in a solution on this board to correct this...STILL doing it. I have the most recent version of Firefox, so that's not the issue. My internet connection is very strong (both the router and computer are in the same room, pretty much side by side)and I've tried to connect both with and without my VPN but still have the same issue.

I have lived with Firefox as my only browser since about the late 1990's but may have to switch if this issue can't be resolved. Yes, it's minor but it's still an annoyance to deal with.

I have attached a screenshot of the error that's constantly coming up when I start Firefox.

Why am I getting this white line completely around Firefox? I did a reset last night and it seemed to have disappeared but it's back again today. I think it may have started with the last update. It seems like with each new update comes new problems. Some days Firefox doesn't work at all for me. Firefox has always been the browser that I have preferred to use but it's rapidly becoming unusable for me. The white line is just cosmetic but Firefox is also plagued with tons of functional problems that keep getting worse. Is there a paid version that actually works?

Firefox update deleted large number of extensions, lost much data. unable to use or sign into banking and secure sites, traveling and unable to access air carrier, check in, customs, immigration. you know all the very most important requirement. complete screw-up. update to extensions does not work either. 5 days so far in super inconvenience.

firefox v 112.0.2 64 bit windows 11 home 22H2 22621.1635. Sometime in the past 2 weeks when I use ctrl-D to create a bookmark, I get the dialogue box and check SAVE but the bookmark is not added. I can delete bookmarks, I just cannot create new ones. I have renamed places.sqlite and xulstore.json to no avail. Any suggestions to correct?

I had hundreds of bookmarks. One week ago Microsoft Tech was on my computer and when finished had deleted apps including Firefox. When this happened my bookmarks (website pages) disappeared. These were specific pages I needed to save for the book I am writing. Is there a way to recover them? I tried the fix that is listed on the site, but it isn't applicable. I exclusively use Firefox and Duck Duck Go. Help!! Help!!

my firefox is blocking javascripts loaded by domain itself. But only for one domain (cls-med.de). I do not know which setting forced the problem. The Javascript is also blocket in firefox-debugging-mode. Other intances of firefox do not block the javascript. can you help me please?

Each time I go to open my Yahoo browser I am asked for my password even though I have selected remember this device. I have to go through the 2nd layer authentication to enter the 6 number code. This should be a simple thing to resolve but I can't figure it out.

I don't WANT to make the pane narrower - obviously. I need to read what's in it. That's why I want the Layout Pane to go UNDER the HTML Pane, so I can get the full width.

So...

I'll repeat the old, archived question:

How can I fix the Inspector Layout Pane to be UNDER the HTML Pane - always - regardless of how wide it is.
