I am trying to have Firefox show an "X" on every tab as soon as I hover above it. I followed a certain article and implemented this code:

This code is however not being implemented no matter how many times I restart Firefox. 'toolkit.legacyUserProfileCustomizations.stylesheets' is set to True The location is userChrome.css is '/home/user1/.mozilla/firefox/yqomjsh9.default-release-1672744596809/chrome/userChrome.css'

What could be the issue? I tried adding executable permissions using "chmod" but that did not change anything.

Hello! Since a month I have a strange problem - Firefox wont connect to any Google service - REcaptcha, google-analytics. Any site that uses these services would not load, or loads and waits until connection expires. I tried refreshing Firefox, the uninstalling and re-installing - the problem remains. I do not use any proxy or firewall on my computer. Opera and other browsers do not have this problem. Please, advice.

I have received information that i have been included in a breach in 2016. Is this something that I need to be concerned with? And also, how can i be involved in a breach of a website that I have never logged into or have not visited?

How do I get rid of keybinds or at least change them it's really annoying when I'm working on stuff and i try to close one tab and then i close the entire window by accident by fat fingering shift.

Hi, can you help? I can't access morphy richards website from my phone and my pc through Firefox. I can access it through Microsoft Edge on my pc and my Samsung Internet app on my phone but not through my Firefox app or windows 11 Pro desktop pc. I get this message on my pc

Steps I have taken is clearing data, history and cache on pc, turning off mcafee firewall. I use my pc through a wired Internet connection and my phone through Wi-Fi and data and it's the same on both I can't access the website. Like I mentioned I can access it no problems through Microsoft Edge on my pc and Samsung Internet app on my phone so I have now pinpointed it to Mozilla Firefox being the issue, also this is the only website I have issues with. Firefox 109 is horrible and I am trying to revert to 108. I have the "Old Firefox Data" file, but have no idea how to get ALL that info back into 108. I am so very upset and frustrated right now! So much wasted time. I cannot believe Mozilla did this to us with no warning!!!!!!!! I have seen some articles on how to get the info back, but I don't really understand them. I am relatively computer-savvy, but I definitely do not understand how all this works. Some "Firefox for Dummies" at this point would be greatly appreciated. I am on a PC using Windows 10 professional 64-bit with automatic updates so it's current.

Hello. I have a problem. I'm a new macbook owner, installed firefox and I'm having trouble restoring tabs. I have the "open previous windows and tabs" option checked, and yet when I close firefox and go back in, it shows me the start page instead of what it was before closing. I don't know where to look for help and what the problem is. Regards

I recently installed windows on a new solid state hard drive, and did a fresh install of firefox, but I forgot to manually backup my bookmarks. The old install is still on the old windows hard drive, is there a way for me to move them onto the new install? I'd prefer to not have to rebuild the whole list from scratch!

Is there anyway to reset your password without losing bookmarks and other personal data? My old computer crashed and I don't want to lose all that data. For some reason, my password isn't working.

Macbook Air M2. Updated firefox, updated OS.

So, I have a firefox tab open. When I set "Full Screen" in "View" setting, I still have the tabs and url bar shown. I want to be able to remove the tabs, url bar, and mac toolbar from the screen while on a firefox tab. How do I do this? "Full Screen" in "View" only removes the mac toolbar. If I remember correctly, my windows 10 computer just has to press F11 to go fullscreen and remove the tabs and url bar as well (or is that google chrome?).

Over the past two days, I have found if I create a new tab, the shortcuts that I had saved on that page have all disappeared. Does Firefox keep a backup of these shortcuts? Unlike related support messages I've read, my bookmarks and bookmarks toolbar are unaffected.

These shortcuts (about 16 of them) took quite a while to accumulate, and it is frustrating to see that they can just simply disappear like that.

I am running Firefox 108.0.2 (64-bit) on Windows 10).
