When I try to open a what may be a link in a page, which should bring up a PDF file, I think, I get the following:

When I click on the Open Site in new Window button I get a new window with the following:

message "Unauthorized" context {} code null

https:\\archive.org works perfectly in Firefox on Win-10, but on a new Linux Mint install, (with default Firefox as included), this particular website simply displays as a blank white screen. Every other website I try on the Linux install works perfectly; it is only this one website which does not work.

There are no add-ons, no proxies, no security suites, nothing extra. I cleared all cookies and cache. Tried running FF in Protected Mode. Nothing seems to fix it.  There are no error messages displayed - just a blank white screen.

And, to make it worse, I am not particularly computer-literate, (I'm 82 years old...), so you will have to give me simple guidance if I need to get involved with deeper logging etc.

Our customers news websites use our software to make a relevant experience for end-users. But end users, who use your software could not access to that content, because your software blocks ours. We received multiple tickets regarding Firefox blocking the execution of Piano scripts

Hey,

It seems Firefox blocks all Piano Scripts in the strict privacy mode of the browser.

For a few days now users are reporting, that they can't access the Login via firefox. In the "strict" privacy mode all Piano scripts seem to get blocked. Even Paywalls and Banner are missing. When i choose a custom privacy setting and block everything but "tracking content", all piano functions are available again.

Did you change anything in your cookie handling, that may have be causing browsers to categorize piano cookies wrong and block them?

Steps to reproduce (see also video):

open pricavy settings and turn on strict mode

Login Button etc. disappear

Turn privacy setting to custom and uncheck "tracking content" -> Login appears again.

Hello,

there is a problem in the firefox browser, if you use "private window" the function "Extended tracking protection" is turned on automaticly and in this case you can't log in to the account and also article locks don't appear at all

I mean this:

Hello,

Recently we've received some reports from people that they are unable to sign-in on our website in Firefox. It seems like the Piano script is being blocked for some reason. One of our developers has provided a recording of what he was seeing here (a Sign-In / Subscribe button should be appearing in the top right if it were working properly).

He is using Firefox version 126.0 on macOS, in private browsing mode, using Standard browser privacy settings. We've had others report the same issue on Windows in normal browsing mode. We previously haven't had issues with those settings before, so we're not sure if something may have changed.

Do you have any suggestions on how to troubleshoot this?

A recent set of system updates appears to have made most website videos not play in Firefox.

When I inspect the Developer Tools - > Console tab the most detail Firefox gives are an error line similar to: Media resource URL could not be decoded, error: Error Code: NS_ERROR_DOM_MEDIA_METADATA_ERR (0x806e0006)

Internet searches for the error name and error hex do not appear yield any applicable troubleshooting, nor any methods of collecting additional problem data.

How can I obtain more detail on where the error is happening and how Firefox might be interacting with other packages present on my system?

Arch Linux has some older ffmpeg-compat packages, but those don't appear to match any of the web results, in that they're even older versions of ffmpeg.

More than half of the websites are broken when viewed in Firefox now E.g. theguardian, youtube. It takes way too long to load and most of the time it's only part of the page. The same websites work on Chrome and Edge without any issue.

And then I try to upload screenshots (.JPG) to this form and it doesn't work?

I am trying to open a website but I keep getting error code 522. I've tried using Chrome and it connects to the website with no problem. I've checked my privacy settings and I do not have that website blocked. What else can I check? I don't think it's an issue from the website side. Opening messenger was not a problem in my firefox. But recently i cannot access my messenger anymore in firefox. Everytime I try to open messenger it crashes. But I can use messenger in private window. Can please someone give me a solution for this problem.

Website loaded without any problems for months until I get this error message out of the blue; see screenshot below.

Did try Java toggle on-off extension but the options button is not displayed on the extension that would have enabled me to enter URL of site in blacklist text box.

My website is shown as insecure. If I open it with Chrome, it is okay. If my girlfriend opens it from her computer with firefox, it is okay too. What is wrong here?

Able to access site on MS Edge using same pwd and user ID

Upgrade my desktop Firefox browser to version 126.0.1 a few days ago.

Since then, I'm having all kinds of probs logging in to social media sites.

The biggest prob is with X. I've tried to inquire about this situation with X support. I'm being told that my account is good and I should not be having log-in probs. When I explain that I'm being given an authentication challenge that is not allowing me in - despite the fact that the challenge is cleared - I'm told that I should consider my browser privacy settings.

Nothing has changed with this since my last log-ins except the upgrade for Firefox.

Please advise regarding this inquiry: is there something new in the privacy issues with this new upgrade? And how can this issue be resolved?

I have a problem in Firefox where I can't log into Chewy. I get the error "Secure Connection Failed". Turning off extensions doesn't help, this seems to be a root problem with Firefox itself. I can sign in using Edge.

control + UP (arrow) is documented to "go to top of page". That has broken as of 126.0 And, for some reason I don't remember, I found that using "HOME" in the past was also problematic.

How do I report something as "b roken" to firefox and do you agree it is broken?

Recently, I switched to Fedora 39. At first, Firefox was working fine, but after I logged into my Firefox account, the fonts of some languages stopped rendering, and this started happening with almost every site that was using system fonts.

I can't use Firefox on my Mac with the Reddit.com web site because letters vanish. I started to type "Mac" but aafter the "M" nothing appeared and I got the message "Server Error."

I just had a similar thing happen on the InternetArchive (archive.org).

Chrome and Safari work perfectly.

I've updated Firefox several times with this problem.

I am unable to sign into the 7plus.com.au website.

I have tried creating a new profile in Firefox (firefox.exe -p) but I have the same issues when using the new profile.

When I go to the website, the 'sign in' button does not respond, nor does the 'Register' button. When I click on the 'Connect your TV' button and enter my credentials, I receive an error message:

Failed to sign in. Please try again later (error -1)

I do not have these issues if I use another browser, so this leads me to believe that Firefox may be the issue.

I realize the website developers may also be at fault here, but it seems odd that other browsers work, but Firefox does not.

If anyone can offer any help or advice, I am all ears, thanks.

Been using Firefox and predessors for 30 years. The problem: 1. I login to my Credit Union website "https://www.missionfed.com. 2. I AM able to get through the login and verification process, to the page where my accounts are shown. 3. Click on my checking account, and the icon rolls and rolls, and never gets past this point. 4. Access in this same manner has ALWAYS worked in the past. 5. I disabled all extensions, etc. There was only one anyway. Didn't help. 6. I ran troubleshooting / safe mode. Didn't help. 7. Cleared the cache, etc. Didn't help 7. I called the bank. The moment I mentioned Firefox, THEY SAID, IT'S A NEW PROBLEM WITH FIREFOX, WE'RE TELLING EVERYONE TO USE EDGE OR CHROME INSTEAD. That can't be good? 8. The bank said v.125 works fine and that v.126 is the problem. Any ideas?
