Hi All,

I would like the content area of my tabs moved up so that the box is filled with the actual tab color, without the white background, and also the text will be vertically centered. Right now, the text is dropping too close to the bottom of the tab.

Had this looking very nice in FF 88 with the same code, as you can see in the attached images, but it seems to render differently in FF 115 ESR and FF 125.

Below is some code I used to style the tabs, but the problem exists without this code as well.

I've also included some "tabs on bottom" code I'm using as well at the very bottom.

Would sure like to get those Classic Toolbar Buttons working again too (shown in the second image), but that will be a later request :)

After installing Thunderbird i had first download problems for new Firefox Versions. I tested around, installed everything new and found the solution. Somehow the Maintenance Service didn`t work properly on my machine and after deinstalling and restarting i can update firefox again. Problem remains: When trying to install Offline Languages , see picture, i get the message that it does not work. I tried everything possible, including reinstalling and deleting all old profiles (was a lot of work). Any ideas?

not sure if this is where i should be but i tried the Thunderbird help and got no answer. After the most recent Thunderbird up date and a Thunderbird install over existing one when i go to my drafts folder and click on any draft or save message in there i get a yellow bar at the bottom of the page that i have never seen before . Now i do not want recreate a new profile and lose all my contacts book marks add on etc. how do i remove that yellow bar in Thunderbird mail

Hi, I can't use Firefox because a captcha won't complete loading. I have uninstalled and reinstalled, cleared cache and disabled add ons. I am using a vpn (PIA). Chrome and Edge both load and operate OK. Thanks in advance.

Captchas are an ongoing issue. Firefox seems to have a LOT more captchas than other browsers. Is there a problem between Mozilla and Google?

I'm using Firefox 124.0.2 (64 bit) on Windows, and every few days I get the error about using an older version of Firefox, with Exit or Create New Profile options. I then run "firefox -allow-downgrade" from the command prompt and everything works fine... for a few days, when it happens all over again. This only started happening a couple of weeks ago, but it's getting really annoying. How do I stop it (short of using something like Waterfox or Brave).

I heard that the newest version of Firefox (which I have not upgraded to yet) has a feature that makes it easier to accidentally visit a website whose URL is on the clipboard. I googled to find out how to disable it, and the Featured Snippet said "go to about:config and change clipboard.autocopy to false." Sounded simple, so I did it, but subsequently found out that the article it quotes from is 10 years of age!

My first question, then, is: what does changing "clipboard.autocopy" to false do if it doesn't turn off the brand-new feature?

The second question is, how do I disable the new URL Paste Suggestion feature? Will setting "clipboard.autocopy" disable it? In particular, I want to make sure that the browser does not pre-load or pre-fetch the clipboard URL, and in fact, I wish to pop up a dialog box any time I do "paste and go." People often copy URLs from e-mails to research them before visiting them directly; jumping directly will increase the likelihood of visiting an imposter site.

I deleted Thunderbird, than Installed latest version. Now in Thunderbird "Use Primary Password" is clicked so I can't reset primary P/W. Previous P/W doesn't work because there is no P/W there as far as I can see. Instructions I found: "Tools> Developer Tools> Error> etc. There is no "Error" button. Instead I get Incoming Connection (attachment) and an other screen that I don't understand. Can you help please? Thank you Ilio Pieroni

I know i have asked this already but i did not receive an answer of a solution and id really like someone to help me with this. It is a duplicate question but again no answer and id really like one . i want to remove it please do not tell me toget a new profile and lose everything i have. there has to be another way

Hi, I'm having issues with my Google search results page. It used to be very clean looking and mainly only showing the results of whatever I searched. Today though, I searched something and now the Google results are first showing Reddit answers, what others have asked, discussions and forums, what others have searched, short videos, etc. I have to scroll really far down just to get some normal search results. How can I fix this? Call me old school but I want the classic version back. Please help, I don't want to switch browsers. I've been using Firefox nearly since it's launch, since StumbleUpon days. I cannot send or receive emails from my laptop on ftci@comcast.net nor dchsr1@comcast.net. I can send and receive on my iPhone at dchsr1@comcast.net and don't understand why. My primary password was corrupted in the breech I believe because I haven't forgotten it but it isn't being accepted. I believe the best way to solve is for a temporary primary password to be sent to dchsr1@comcast.net or texted to me at 904-237-5917 or mailed to me via overnight mail. This would allow me to regain control of both accounts. Nothing in the forum addresses this issue that I saw.

I can't access to 'calendars' on Firefox for Mobile (to boook an appointement or check schedule in exemple). Works fine on Chrome and used to work on an old phone with Firefox. Disabling extensions did nothing.

I'm running out of ideas.

When I press shift+cmd+D to bookmark all open tabs, instead of the links being saved to the designated folder, they are all saved to "Bookmarks Menu". The designated folder itself also appears with these links but it itself is empty.

I would expect shift+cmd+D to bookmark all links in the folder and the folder to appear in "Bookmarks Menu". This is what use to happen ages ago. I'm not sure what caused the change in behavior. Anyone have any ideas on fixing this?

Thunderbird fails to access comcast.net email accounts after years of working correctly. Version 115.10.1. I have tried changing the password many times after talking to Comcast support. The best they can do is suggest I contact you.

I have accidentally end up with two FireFox accounts. I want to combine them, but I can't change either account to the other one because FireFox tells me that the replacement email/account is already in use. How do I get around this?

i just got firefox setup just as i want so dont want to reset it. yes i have used arkenfox to beef up pivacy.

only problem is i assume fingerprint disabling has made the window size like tor browser.

is there a way via the shortcut to "c:\mozilla\firefox\firefox.exe" -height 1024 -width 1600

does not work

how do i fix this? using this method? as i would prefer to do this way

alternatively prefs.js / is there a way to do it there?
