What is the files storage management? Why every update I need to download 20 MB and they are ADDED! to old data. V17 - 100 MB, v18 - 120, v19 140???

I noticed that every update I download 20 MBs of new files. I check the space occupied by FF and I saw that with every update the storage room increases by 20 MBs. Please dont confirm me the it is a feature because I would consider it as a prank. For example Dolphne browser occupies after all updates abut 13 MBs. Android 4.0.3 FF mobile v 18. Thank you for the answer. Btw please start doing something the the speed of the browser. It is really tragic. The only current benefit of FF is Adlock.

Updating Firefox does not cause it to use more space. Most of the space of the profile is is used by the thumbnail cache. This extra space used will be trimmed in Firefox 19. If the Firefox 19 update does not shrink the profile size the following addon can be used to check what is using up so much space in your profile.
