How do I unmake FireFox as my browser of choice?

I do not wish to have FireFox as my browser of choice. How do I correct the fact that it is now my browser of choice?

Well, first from here disable checking of being default browser in Firefox:

Tools [Firefox] > Options > Advanced > General > System Defaults


Now you have to select your default browser. In Mac: 

   1

   Choose 'System Preferences' from the Apple pull down menu on your desktop.
   2

   Click on 'Internet' under the 'Internet and Network' section.
   3

   Choose the option 'Web' from the list of headings.
   4

   Choose the browser you want (For example Safari) from the list of available Web browsers in the pull down menu.
   5

   Close the 'System Preferences' window and restart your computer.


You can also go to the browser you want to be your default browser and make it your default. You may need to search in its settings for that if you're not familiar with it.
