I can't view any website pop up windows. Such as enlarging photos.

All of a sudden I can't view any of pop up windows form any websites. Such as enlarging photos or going to windows from websites to view content. I am attempting to apply for a job and the pop up window on that website will not come up anymore. The screen is blank. I have not changed any setting and it just started.
