If you haven't done yet the you should create a new profile exclusively for the 4.0 beta version and create a desktop shortcut with -P "profile" appended to the target to launch that profile.

Firefox -> Options (press the right arrow, not the text) -> Toolbar Layout... Scroll down and you'll see "Tab Groups". This is the button for "Panorama". Drag it to somewhere among your toolbars and you can start using it.

[Edit: Right-clicking on an empty space in some toolbars then "Customise" also opens the "Toolbar Layout" dialog]

@the-edmeister, I have noticed cor-el giving answers totally unrelated to the question. The reply posted by cor-el is totally unrelated to the question.

In Firefox 4 the tab bar is a regular toolbar just like the menu bar and navigation tool bar. The Panorama button should be on the tab bar by default and if that doesn't happen then there can be a problem as described in that KB article with the file (localstore.rdf) that stores the toolbar configuration. IMO opinion, background information is important and make it easier to understand how Firefox works (useful for new helpers and other who read threads) and can be used to solve other (related) issues. The mozillaZine KB usually provides such background information and has links to other useful information.

I tried removing localstore.rdf and creating a new profile. In neither case was the Panorama button (or whatever it is) present.
