Shortcuts Won't Open
I have used Firefox since late 2004, and nothing else. No problems until now.
Android 14 and Firefox mobile I think version 123.
It is updated. When I'm on a website, like USPS and accessesed Informed Delivery, I tell Firefox to Add To Home screen so I can quickly access mail and packages coming today.
Has always worked fine. Now, none of my manufacturered/created Firefox shortcuts will do anything. I cleared the Firefox cache, and forced stopped. I don't know if cleaning the data or reinstalling the whole app will help.
I then deleted data and uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox, but nothing changed.
I tried earlier versions but got a notification off it wasn't compatible with my version on Android.
I'm recovering from a stroke and these lost shortcuts stored on my homescreen were vital to communicating with my doctors, therapists, outpatient rehab, hospitals, etc. I'm lost without them.
Any suggestions or reasons for this are appreciated.

The only thing I can think of is that the shortcut address that you are trying to add is for a period of time and is naturally not redirecting. You may want to try adding a shortcut to:
https://reg.usps.com/portal/login?_gl

Same result. I can generate the shortcut, but tapping on it she's nothing. It used to be simple. I don't know what happened.
It only works with Duck Duck go , now
