When I am trying to access my website https://specialplasticparts.com on Firefox for Android, I get the following error message:

"cannot complete request additional information"

This does not happen on Chrome or Edge for Android. It does not happen on Firefox PC version.

Also, it does not happen every time on Firefox for Android, but quite often.

Does anyone know what is causing this?

Thanks!

Hi

That website appears to open fine for me. Are you able to share a screenshot of the error message?

Hi Paul and thank you for your reply!

I am adding a screenshot.

Upon further testing, it seems that this error:

-only happens in Firefox for Android, with the Private mode enabled. -does not occur in Firefox for Android with normal/not private mode (even though I clear history/cookies etc when I close the browser which should make the browser act similar to Private mode?) -does not occur in any other web browser, neither on PC or Android -does not happen every time when I try to access the website, but maybe one time out of five.

It is possible that the error is triggered by a helper plugin I am using on my website. This helper plugin sets a cookie to indicate from which country the visitor is coming. But still, the error only occurs in Firefox for Android, Private mode.

So in the end, it is not a big deal as the website works in most browsers. But it would be nice to know what is causing the error and if there is something that can be done about it.

I have also earlier been testing other websites in different browsers, primarily to check for errors when setting up caching plugins on the sites, and many times there has been errors in Firefox for Android Private mode, which has not happened in other browsers. So this makes me wonder if there is something in the Firefox Private browser that I need to configure differently?

Thanks!
