Previous session isn't restored upon launching

Firefox has stopped restoring the previous session when launched.

I have the relevant option checked in the settings and have tried deleting the sessionstore* files in the profile folder.

The only sessionstore files I could find were in the sessionstore backups folder with no "*sessionstore*" files within the main/profile folder itself.

This is on a machine running the abysmal windows 11
