I don't think my VPN has been upgraded to latest (with multi hop, etc.) I see no upgrade option when I activate the VPN service.

Hey there,

No need to worry, all you need to do is access vpn.mozilla.org and log in using the “Already a subscriber?” link at the top right of the page. Here, simply log in to the Firefox account you used with your Mozilla VPN subscription, and it will automatically take you to the download page where you'll be able to re-install the app and get the new update!

Hope this helps,

Hello there,

If you haven't been prompted to update the VPN, try downloading the VPN again from vpn.mozilla.org which will install the latest version (2.5).

Keep in mind that the multi-hop feature is currently available on Windows, Mac and Linux.

I am an early user of Mozilla VPN and am on a $4.99/month plan. The download page no longer shows this plan. Do I have to change plans in order to update?

I was sent here because I said I couldn't get Multi-Hop to work (it tries infinitely to finish connecting) and I get told to download the latest version. I use Linux and thus have the PPA installed, the new version that came out last week, I have it installed, it didn't change the issue. Kind of boiler-plate answer to my question. I don't have to grab updates with Linux, they get grabbed themselves, most of the time anyway, and it does so very well with all Mozilla products.
