VPN? for Firefox?
I'm confused ;( I see this VPN service from Mozilla but I don't see how you install it if running Firefox? All I see is it's for windows10 64 bit; android, linux etc. but not for firefox. I know firefox is pretty secure to begin with but I have seen other VPN services saying they have an extension for Firefox so what's the real deal here with Mozilla VPN and the Firefox Browser?
thank you. A VPN newbie.

Hi there,
thank you for posting on the forum!
The Firefox Private Network is a browser extension that costs 2.99/month, versus the Mozilla VPN app that is a standalone app that costs 4.99/mo. The extension only covers browser activity and doesn't have any configurable settings, whereas the Mozilla VPN has more configuration options and covers all internet activity on the device.
I have the Windows installed Mozilla VPN installed. I imagine that the above individual wants to have that program indicate in the Firefox browser, through an extension, that it (VPN) is either active, or needs to be activated, for a start.
I also want to see something in my preferred browser letting me know that the VPN is indeed active at a glance via extension. I'm certain this can be done since other VPN's have extensions for Firefox.
