My email host (Epik) recently removed their calendar server, hosting9.epik.com, and switched it over to a new URL. I removed all my network calendars and saved passwords for hosting9.epik.com, and added the new calendars with the new URL. However, every few minutes I get a pop-up (four, actually, one for each calendar account) asking me to provide my credentials for hosting9.epik.com. Of course my credentials no longer work and these modal dialogs block progress until they are all closed via the "X". This process repeats every few minutes and makes Thunderbird virtually impossible to use.

Can you please help me remove any/all references to hosting9.epik.com in my Thunderbird settings? I have removed the saved passwords and calendar accounts, and none of my email accounts' servers (IMAP and SMTP) refer to hosting9.epik.com. If there is somewhere else to look, please let me know. Is there some settings file I can edit on disk to remove these references, that are not available via the GUI settings? If not, I fear this may be a bug causing Thunderbird Calendar to connect to deleted servers.

Similar to a report on 102.0.2 (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1382355), some messages are displayed as only a portion of HTML code, or the base-64 encoding of an attachment. Sometimes nothing is displayed. The header pane also displays HTML code rather than the message headers. It isn't the complete message source.

First saw this yesterday on 91.13 and thought it might have stopped doing it later, but I may not have ever re-visited the offending messages. It happens with random messages from the same sender. I just installed 91.13.1 today with the same issue.

I have managed to install - and use - Thunderbird for my email messages, but I would like to choose the default font (which at the moment seems to be set at Calibri) PLUS the default font size is set to 14, but onscreen it looks too small and I would like to make it a little bigger. I have tried all the things I am comfortable to try, buy my ignorance has finally got the better of me and I am stuck! Any suggestions would be gratefully received! Thankyou.

TB has slowed way down. I upgraded to 102.3.0 (32-bit). One thread on this forum suggested a series of steps including repairing the inbox folder.

I have dozens of folders. Is there a way to repair ALL the folders?

One person who also uses TB but is not an expert suggested deleting messages of even folders that are no longer needed. (e.g., sufficient time has passed that I would no longer need to keep them.) closing TB backing up the profile deleting all MSF files backing up that profile uninstalling the 32 bit TB installing the 64-bit TB

Is that procedure reasonable?

Have not found a way (yet) to sort or filter my Lightening Calendar Events by an assigned "category ID".

I've also not been able to find an extension or add-on that may address such a capability.

For example: I have a series of medical appointments scheduled throughout an upcoming year or any time-frame. I would like to be able to sort or filter on the category ID that I've created for those appointments.

It is likely possible that I've overlooked an obvious option or even add-on, but so far No Joy.

Creating a "Task" is a possibility, but Tasks will not appear in the Lightening Calendar display.

Any suggestions please?

I have installed latest version of Thunderbird and all works as it should but 2 things seem wrong and not sure if bug, incorrect setting or just not allowed:

1 When I send encrypted email to myself it is automatically unencrypted and readable. I would prefer that any encrypted email I receive forces me to enter my private password every time. Can I configure this? 2 I would like to set Tbird to automatically encrypt all emails to an address I have the public key for. however It looks as if I can only set 'encrypt all' or 'don't encrypt' which means I need to manually select for each email or have to set as 'encrypt all' and then get message for almost all recipients that they don't have public key etc.

Advice appreciated.

Please see image. I use emClient but wish to move over to Thunderbird as emClient is getting too bloated, slow and freezes.

However, I cant seem to be able to display all emails from the same customer in Mozilla. The uploaded image shows how you can see all emails from a selected customer in emClient.

Is this same view possible in Mozilla? If not, whats the alternative in Mozilla?

Version 102 has been plagued with problems. My latest issue is that I sorted my inbox by "Read" Now my read messages are not showing up in my inbox. I then checked sort by Date and the checkmark for "Read" went away but my read messages are still missing. The only messages that are in my inbox are the unread ones. Any help with this problem would be appreciated.

I am running on Linux OpenSuse 15.4. I upgraded to Thunderbird 102.2.2 a few days ago, using OpenSuse's YAST Software Manager. I manage 3 email accounts in Thunderbird. The first 2 work fine, but the 3rd will no longer let me see the email bodies of any of the emails in its Inbox or Sent folders. No matter which email item I click on in the lists, the body pane in the lower right of the display remains blank. I have not touched the settings of that account and it worked fine before the upgrade. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

The Inbox on one account won't show any content (clicking on 'inbox' brings up a blank scene) although other folders (sent, junk, trash) show content. I get around this problem by forwarding everything from the inbox to another account. This works, but is not very satisfactory.

How can I change the displayed font to a larger proportional font, such as Arial?

(Note that {Preferences > General > Language & Appearance > Fonts & Colors > Default font > Advanced > Font Control > Use fixed width font for plain text messages} determines the font displayed for received plain-text messages, not the font used in composing them.)

3rd post - it would be nice to get a response. I cannot send emaIL FROM THIS WIN 10 FULLY UPDated APP. The error message as above appears all the time (and does not cancel after 1 hour or whatever). Email can be sent using the same smtp settings from various Android devices. Forum suggestions do not cure the problem.

This, along with all the other annoying glitches within T'bird, seem to be forcing me to abandon using T'bird after many, many years. Shame.

They look really weird, there is always a link there which when I click on it the message including any pictures goes back to the normal look. All I have changed was to uncheck paragraph format so I could get single line spacing. Even when I revert this action, now the messages still look wrong. think its something to do with html thing, but I have tried selecting all of the options one at a time, and nothing gets it back to the correct look! I am at my wits end trying to get this to work properly - please can anyone help?

For some time I have had the problem of the above error when double clicking to open an email from the Inbox in a new window. No other folder was affected. The problem did not appear when running in Safe Mode, but still appear when running the base install with no add-ons. This problem persisted after completely reinstalling Thunderbird and upgrading to a newer version of my OS.

For a while I was using the right click to open work around. Recently I found mention on another forum of this problem being solved by installing the FolderFlags add on. I used that add on and discovered that the Inbox folder had both Inbox and Template flags set.

Removing the flag solves the original problem for the duration of the session. But closing and reopening Thunderbird somehow sets the Template flag again, recreating the issue.

How can I prevent Thunderbird from changing the Template flag setting?

Thunderbird is trying to access an old email account I haven't used for years. But today I am getting the following error message: Login to server pop3(old email address) with username XXXX failed. The error message keeps popping up as long as Thunderbird is open. And as long as an error message is running, I can't send an email. A laptop running Windows 10 was using an older version of Thunderbird (2019) and would not update even though the auto update box was checked. Downloaded and installed 102.3.0, which to my surprise did not require that the older version be uninstalled, and all went smoothly: all folders are in place with no data lost. However, the address books are empty. Found a Contacts folder located here C:\Users\Username\Contacts and this folder contains all the missing contacts. What steps do I need to take to get 102.3.0 to access this file / data?

I need to export my address book as in previous TBird versions (in my case, to a VCF file). The only option in vs 102 is to export (actually it's simply a backup) the entire account profile to a ZIP file. That doesn't get the job done. I need my address book in a format which can be input to my smart phone.
