I have a web page that has two data entry fields. I want to allow data entry into either of the fields. However, Firefox pops up with 'Please fill out this form' and forces the user to enter both fields. IE doesn't force this. Is there an option I can turn off in Firefox to stop the forced entry?

However, Firefox pops up with 'Please fill out this form' and forces the user to enter ''both'' fields. IE doesn't force this. Is there an option I can turn off in Firefox to stop the forced entry?

That can happen if entries have a required attribute.
