The trackball on my Lenovo laptop does not work to move up and down pages on the Firefox Beta. Can I enable this
The problem started when I downloaded the Firefox Beta version 4. I have just upgraded to version 5 and I am still having the problem. I have a center button on mouse pad that allows me to move up and down pages without clicking on the sidebar,

Try this:
Type about:config in the URL bar and hit Enter.
If you see the warning, you can confirm that you want to access that page.
Filter = trackpoint
Pref = ui.trackpoint_hack.enabled
change that from -1 to 1.
Restart Firefox.

There is no such option ui.trackpont_hack.enabled.
Changing to hack to 1 only works in the first seconds when firefox is still loading the pages, and then it stops working.....
This did not work. I closed/reopened FireFox first, then I restarted the machine. Neither worked.
